It's prob ur phone katherine, still under warrenty? I can take it to Cellulab if u want?

I've never had a problem with Rogers. Rogers and Fido arent the same they are competaters no matter who owns what. They act as two seprate companies.

Rogers gets better recpetion then Fido because of the way the network is set up, Rogers has priorty over Fido network. So Rogers first.

Phone wise, the phone with the best reception and quality is the Razr. Rogers has some good plans but they dont advertise them you have to ask at the shop or what promotions are going on or if you know somone who works for Rogers to hook you up with a plan number

iunno for the moment thats all i can think of

HAVE FUN :D

Virus attacking Apple Macintosh PCs found-experts

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A malicious computer worm has been found that targets Apple Computer Inc.'s Mac OS X operating system, believed to be the first such virus aimed specifically at the Mac platform.

The worm is called OSX/Leap-A, according to a posting on the Web site of antivirus software company Sophos, which said the worm is spread via instant messaging programs.

The worm attempts to spread via Apple's iChat instant messaging program, which is compatible with America Online's popular AIM instant messaging program, according to the Sophos Web site.

The worm sends itself to available contacts on the infected users' buddy list in a file called "latestpics.tgz," according to the Sophos Web site.

The vast majority of malicious hacks are aimed at Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating system and some of its products, largely because Microsoft has more than 90 percent of the market for computer operating systems.

"This first Macintosh OS X threat is an example of the continuing spread of malicious code on to other platforms," said Vincent Weafer, senior director at Symantec Security Response, in a statement.

The worm will not automatically infect Mac computers, but will ask users to accept the file, Weafer said.

Symantec ranked the new worm as a Level 1 threat (with 5 being the most severe).

An Apple spokesperson was not immediately available to comment.

Turkmenistan bans recorded music

President Niyazov is known for giving eccentric orders
Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov has banned the playing of recorded music at all public events, on television and at weddings.
In a decree, Mr Niyazov said there was a need to protect Turkmen culture from "negative influences".

This is the latest move by the authoritarian president to minimise foreign influence in the isolated former Soviet state, analysts say.

He has already banned opera and ballet, describing them as "unnecessary".

'True culture'

Mr Niyazov's decree was published in the official daily newspaper Neitralny Turkmenistan (Neutral Turkmenistan).

NIAYZOV'S DECREES
banned opera and ballet
forbade long hair or beards for young men
banned car radios
required video monitors in all public places
closed all hospitals, except in the capital, Ashgabat
renamed some calendar months after the president and his mother

It banned sound recordings "at musical performances on state holidays, in broadcasts by Turkmen television channels, at all cultural events organised by state... in places of mass assembly and at weddings and celebrations organised by the public".

The president was quoted by the newspaper as saying the move aimed to "protect true culture, including the musical and singing traditions of the Turkmen people".

And in comments broadcast on state television, Mr Niyazov told his cabinet:

"Unfortunately, one can see on television old voiceless singers lip-synching their old songs.

"Don't kill talents by using lip-synching... create our new culture."

Personality cult

Mr Niyazov - known as Turkmenbashi, or father of the Turkmen - has ruled the desert state since the Soviet times.

Opulent buildings have characterised Mr Niyazov's rule

He has created a vast personality cult around himself, issuing decrees regulating behaviour in all walks of life.

In 2001, Mr Niyazov - proclaimed the president for life - called for youths not to get gold tooth caps, also urging a crackdown on young men wearing beards or long hair.

Pictures of the president adorn public buildings and his book - intended as a moral and spiritual guide - is compulsory reading throughout Turkmenistan.

To many, his rule is alarmingly authoritarian, BBC Eurasia editor Catherine Davis says.

People who know him say he appears to believe he was sent by God to lead his nation into what he calls a "Golden Age", our editor says.

Beyond the elaborate building projects in the capital lies an impoverished country, where surveillance is commonplace and any public opposition a rare event, she adds.

French outraged by Tokyo governor
A group of French speakers in Japan are suing the governor of Tokyo after he described French as a failed language.

The 21 teachers and researchers, are demanding compensation and an apology for the "insulting remarks" from Governor Shintaro Ishihara.

Mr Ishihara is accused of saying he was not surprised French did not qualify as an international language, as it was "a language which cannot count numbers".

The veteran politician is well-known for his outspoken comments.

He has previously drawn criticism for saying the Nanjing Massacre, in which hundreds of thousands of Chinese were slaughtered by Japanese troops in the 1930s, never happened.

His latest controversial came comments during the inauguration of a university building last October. Among the audience were French professors who had opposed his government's integration of five schools to form Tokyo Metropolitan University.

"I have to say that it should be no surprise that French is disqualified as an international language because French is a language which cannot count numbers," he said.

French contribution

Numbers in French can be complicated for beginners, especially combinations which make up numbers such as 94, which translates as "four 20s and 14".

The group taking Mr Ishihara to court, who include French and Japanese nationals, are seeking a written apology and 500,000 yen (£2,545; 3,683 euros) each. They say his comments "hindered their economic livelihoods".

Brendan Marcus, who teaches at a private French school in Tokyo, is one of the plaintiffs.

"For someone of his public stance, it's quite unacceptable," Mr Marcus told Reuters news agency.

"When you know how many French scientists and mathematicians throughout history have made important contributions, [his remarks are] not appropriate."

From a racers point of view, that was some pretty sketch driving, no line was followed, random, reckless driving. Very unsafe. From west island and any were else driven view that was a fun drive. Keep ur eyes open and make sure everyone else around you knows what ur going to do. DON'T TRUST ANYONE ON THE ROAD MAKE SURE IF WHAT UR GUNNA DO, MAKE SURE U HAVE THE SPACE AND THE REACTION TIME TO DO IT, MAKE UR SELF-VISABLE WITH TURN INDACTERS AND BRIGHTS BEFORE YOU IN BETWEEN CARS. :P AND KEEP AWAY FROM PUDDLES, IF U HAVE A TURBO UR UR GUNNA FISH TAIL IN A TURN OR SCREW UP UR OVER TAKE, MIND YOU FISH TAIL IN A TURN HAPPENS HAPPENS WITH REAR-WHEEL DRVIE AND UR TURBO KICKS IN DURING A TURN.
