now that i mooved from montreal i have a cell from my new city...
but i have still this contract with tellus...for two other years...
the cell is free...it's 30 $ a month...evenings of the week free(from6 pm at 6 am..) + week-end free + 100 min free each month....
if u are interrested or anyone else....

Yeah I was told to be careful with contracts cause of shit like that happening.

what features does it have and what about text messaging whats the charge on that and do you get charged when people send you messages?

and if you dont use that 100 minutes that month can it be put on the next month so instead of 100.. you would have 200?

yeah!!! kind of piss me off!!! because my mooving is defenitive.... and i can't cancel my contract!!!
i stop the service for the maximum limit,6 months...but now, this period is over...so, i have to pay for nothing!

you can text messages but i never did it on this phone...i don't think it's expensive, if u choose the right deal...(and u can change it when ever you want...)
unfortunatly...i don't think u can have the rest of the minutes of the last month in the following month...

Bell makes you pay a little extra to change the definition of "evening" from 8pm to 6pm. I'm stuck with them...

I'm also stuck in a contract with Bell, but their plans really aren't that bad, although as a company I have very little respect for them...but really, all the cell phone companies are the same, they're there for money..c'est tout.

Rogers is the only one i haven't looked into yet. What kind of plans they got going on?

Fido seems alright but sounds like it would be pricey..

Like the contract deals some seem really good... but being stuck with them for more then a year meh..
i rather be careful just in case something happens

I work for fido currently, any questions you have, feel free to ask... currently the best plan we offer is 30$ a month, unlimited incoming local calls, which means that anyone can call you and it doesnt take away from your minutes... with this plan, including voice mail and caller ID you can expect to pay about 50$ a month on your bill, depending on whether or not you do any long distance or go over your minutes... with a 2 year contract we have some free phones or 1/4 prices phones, otherwise you'd have to buy the phone at market price... if you cancel your contract pre-maturely, there's a cancellation fee of 200$ if there's more than 1 year left in your contract, otherwise for less than a year, they calculate it based on the number of months left, up to the maximum of 200$ (ie 6 months left, 6x20$=120$ cancellation fee)... anyways, if you have any specific questions please feel free to msg me or post it, that goes for anyone who's interested, and just so Im clear, I dont get comission, so im not motivated by earning extra cash by this, I just happen to be working for them for the time being; I consider myself to be a savyy consumer and I always look for the best deals, so I work for the customers actual needs...

Ufot-cell wars!

I can't recall the extra fee... maybe 4-5$ more?! I really can't say. For the time I had the phone (it was stolen... long story), I haven't had any trouble with Bell. If I wanna cancel the contract I end up paying 200$ which was the price of the free phone.

Watch out for rogers, if they put a credit limit on you. When I first signed up with them I had a credit limit of $200, and as soon as it was passed they would suspend your service. Problem is it includes your "unbilled minutes" So say you don't pay your monthly bill like RIGHT AWAY, and then your unbilled usage (even if you are on an unlimited plan, the unlimited thingy doesn't kick in until the bill comes out, so unbilled is calculated at FULL PRICE) starts to creep up, all of a sudden at $200.01 they suspend you AUTOMATICALLY.
