For those that are scared with all the event getting busted recently.

Just letting you know that we are working in cooperation with the city for this one.

The fire department is well aware of the event, and have issued a 400 capacity permit, which I have in hand.
We have insurance for the event, real security guards, and some wicked music :P

Call the fire dept, and see what they think about the rave scene, you will be surprise to realise that they like us!

When they shut down an event, its no only for "fun"...they need a valid reason for it...and beleive it or not, it is for your safety.

promoters need to stop being scared...and start to work in collaboration with the city...

good luck with that...
being a newcomer, I highly doubt you will be able to get him.
And if you can, you will need maybe about 10 000$ to give as a deposit

or you could just get a decent computer, learn some software, and make everything yourself..

a computer is way more efficient and reliable than a bunch of "musicians" in a band...
and a computer wont try to get into your pants...

I remember getting a tickets for J walking while I was in calgary...

it was about 3am, the city was completely dead (im sure anyone who have been to calgary know what im talking about)..

I probably could have slept for a good 30min in the middle of the street before getting hit by anything...

never paid it though

In my opinion, this is one of the nicest venue in montreal for that kind of event!

Left in a state of neglect since 1981, this outstanding building, inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, was recently restored and houses the theatre company's production facilities since may 2003.

Located on the corner of Notre-Dame and Letourneux streets ( 2 blocks east of Pie IX) the structure was originally Town of Maisonneuve's No.1 Fire Station. It now houses office space and theatre production facilities as well as a multipurpose hall which can be used for rehearsals and the development of new productions.

the other thing though, is that cops cant give you a tickets if they only come once. they have to come twice on the same day.

they can only give you a warning the first time
