So you're saying that there would be an immaterial set of talents/skills/knowledge that is attached to a living thing, and when it dies, it leaves it and latches onto a new one like a parasite ?

The first time the 'soul' becomes a human, he doesn't have much talent nor qualities, and life after life, it accumulates it and become one of those perfect people.

that's what I think, probably wrong, who knows..

And would that 'soul' be consciousness ? I mean, what do you define as soul -- self-awareness ?

1. I'm talking from the subjective standpoint (because we know what happens to the body, the question here is what happens to consciousness): we were dead before we were alive because we didn't exist before we were alive, just like we will stop existing when we die. But okay, my choice of words sucked.

2. That's why I mentioned "when you sleep and don't dream". I was talking about the phase of delta activity, not of REM sleep.

You act like you all don't know what it's like to be dead, but you were all dead before you were alive. So what was it like ?

And what about when you sleep and don't dream because your brain is at it's lowest activity level -- what is it like ?

You're pretty much dead every night, and you were dead for an eternity of time before you started living.

What I'm saying might sound stupid but if you think about it deep and hard enough......... your head will hurt.

But long posts suck, so I won't elaborate.

it sounds more like you're complaing to me becuase you don't like the chill for whatever reason.

I admit that I don't get the "DJ/audience interaction" thing...

But I understand that it's so small that it can be a turn-off to a lot of people.

Why is it that you do not like the chill for parties? Too small? Not a place you want to support? ....?
Not that I particularly care, I mean, I have nothing to gain from this... I 'm jjust curious.

I think the fact that the capacity of the Chill is of 100, is a turn off for a lot of people.

It also makes it hard to make your parties profitable (or even just to NOT lose money...). One of the reasons is that people are not ready to pay 15$ to go to the Chill, even if you had DJs that would justify that price at a bigger place -- because it's still "just a small party" in a lot of people's minds (and physically, well, it is).

I think that's the idea.

You don't need to know anybody to go. You'll be dancing and eating gummy bears all night long anyways.

Plus, the Chill is such an "intimate" place that within 1 hour of being there you'll meet new people. I see from your profile that you've never been to the Chill.. try it, you'll see what I mean.

Yes, it's probably going to be the candiest party of humanity's history. You should see the fluorescent pink papier mâché gummy bear I'm working on for decoration... pray that I don't have time to finish it.

I'm not sure I'll survive through it either. But that's the whole point. It's a psychological experiment in how much cuteness humans can ingest without dying.

I'm trying to evaluate the LD-50 of happy hardcore.

Oh, and BTW, since you're bashing my party (before it even happened), I suppose it's only good manners for me to bash one of yours. You're with Synergy Canada, right ?

I went to your Hard as Fuck: Military Edition party.

It was the SHITTIEST party I ever went to in my life, and I went to about 30-40 afterhour parties/raves. The heat was unbearable, and the sweat dripping from the ceiling didn't taste that good. Also, I never found the "military decoration". Me and my friends (we were about 7) decided unanimously to get the fuck out before 2 AM.

It's also the only party I've ever criticized.

So anyways, I threw my "coooooool" dogtag ticket away, and went to the Chill.
