Personally, I started slow when I was young, just smoking weed and drinking, (albeit I was smoking a shitload of weed) I guess I sort of had an addictive predisposition to start because I'd have a hard time even going without weed. When I got into things like pills, coke, meth and all that it was a blast for awhile. Had a fuckin great time with few consequences (wasnt really affecting my school, or my social relationships all that much) and I could go without and not have much of a problem. But as years went by somewhere along the line my self control evaporated and I turned into a full fledged addict. I needed to have drugs of whatever type to enjoy what I was doing, if it was in front of me i usually did it. I don't really know where I crossed the line, personally I think it's something some people have and some people dont, but if you have that addictive personality, i know i didnt notice the kind of hell i was going down until i was there and all my denial systems were shot. Its like one day I saw myself in the mirror and from being 180 pound athletic fun loving guy, I was now a 120 pound grey skinned, bags under the eyes slimebag who just needed to to put anything into my system to get through another day. I've been clean and sober for awhile now and I wouldnt trade the way I feel now without drugs for even that feeling I had my first few times, for me its not worth it to risk my life and the emotions of those who care for me, after all ive already put them through hell and been on deaths doorstep a few times myself. I know some people can handle drugs, some people have their fun and grow out of it, some people just have an extacy honeymoon for a year and decide its not for them... but me, from the start it was all bad... even when it was good... just something to keep in mind if you're palnning on trying some of the hard drugs out there.

also, once I got that bad, I couldnt stop on my own no matter how hard I tried. I had to do 4 months in rehab and even after that I relapsed, so stopping once the addiction sets in... is not fuckin easy...

and regarding the long term effects... I'm definitely not the same as I was before... I have a hard time focusing, remembering like...anything, even have a hard time feeling emotions... and a lot of that is probably forever

One time I did way too much mushrooms and a few hours later in the evening I had to take a piss, but my balance was so fucked up and I was seeing trails and shit that I decided I'd probably wind up pissing all over the place unless I sat down. So I dropped my pants, turned to sit down, but it appeared to me that for every inch I brought my ass closer to the toilet, the toilet moved equal distance away... so there I was in a half crouch, raising and lowering my ass towards the seat, but believing i couldnt get closer to the damn toilet... so i kept doing this motion while looking over my shoulder to see if I was getting any closer... no luck. Finally, having convinced myself that i was just fuckin whacked and that there was no way what i was seeing was actually happening, I decided to simply position myself over the toilet seat and drop onto it. The problem was that I was at a full stand when i commited. I hit the seat and broke the damn thing off, slid onto the floor and cracked my head off the water tank... Good Times.

whether its as bad as other drugs or not, K-tards are prolly the worst, most flaky, fake, attitude ridden bunch of the sketchbags... just my opinion tho... plus the whole sitting in a corner drooling thing doesnt add much to the appeal

but if you do it, and you're not a flaky, fakeass, attitude ridden sketchbag... then all the power to you, enjoy
