Kalan should NOT give up throwing parties. I would be a sad individual indeed if he did. I have't been to a whole lot of event like some of the veterans around this place, but of the ones I've been to, none have been so well decorated as those participated in by Phonolite, Kalan and his friends. Psy-tek, Psy-Trance is changing too, since Psychoactive and Soma I've heard a lot of new stuff, Hybrid was a fantastic tag team event, and Phonolite is the only Promoter who has dedicated room two to more chill type, yet still very dancable music. It was the first event I've been to which had done that.

We're having a lot of help from Kalan and friends with our event on August 27/28 and we want to give a very large hug much props/thanks to them for everything they've done and will do.

Tough it out Kalan. WE're workin on spreading the word, you're not down and out yet. I think you're just comin up. A second wind is in the near future and it'll blow hard, very fuckin hard.

i think its the natural state of animal instinctual fear taking over, higher breain functions hiding from changing perspectives and states of perception which open up that are never normally available. We train our brains to deal with the world in and ordered fasion and letting go of that can be unnerving but as long as you remember that you took a specific amount and that that amount was a reasonable one you'll come back to the reality that everything is being created by you and you're in control of your take on what you create.

No matter how distorted or distracting things get, look down at your hands, close your eyes for a moment, take a few breaths with your eyes closed and rememeber who you are, why you're in the state you are, and how important having a good time tonight was to you. Everything will be fine when you open your eyes.

The visuals will still be there, and the music playing might still not be to your liking, you may wish to change locations or get away from the noise for a moment to get yourself centered but you'll be back in the place where you know why you took what you're on and you'll have fun with it.

Always remember your friends may look like dinosaurs trying to teach you math.. but they care about you and probably arent hungry enough to eat ya. HAHAHA

definately a fantastic job, I stole all the leftover flyers from hybrid for all the parties and redistributed them yesterday.. Hope it helps, hate seeing good flyers left behind at events.

Hehe we may be doubling up a lot of the slots, playing head to head like at hybrid.... That was truly cool.

I met this girl at one of the last parties I went to, she was at Hybrid last night, and she seemed cool enough to me. She even went out of her way to help flyer at 2:30am to try to bring in more people at reduced ticket prices.

oh and AMP01 on visuals.. impressed the shit outta me. Three screens!! Seeing the phonolite logo all mixed into the visuals was very gratifying. :D Great work!

And wtf everybody, you people who did not attend this party really and truly missed out on the greatest deco, vj setup, chill/experimental stuff,and so much more.

Kalan and everybody who participated in this event poured their heart and souls into making gravity look and feel like its never felt before. If only the scene had known in advance what it was they were missing out on..

The DJS every one of them were fantastic, an incredible melange of styles, 3 song head to head is a really interesting way to get the djs working together, props to coming up with such a great idea guys.

I have to mention though, M1k1r4m played experimental.. stuff... thats all I can call it, she played a sweet collection of really interesting and playful melodies/beats.. intricate and very non repetitive..

autofill saves time, hit space bar, type the first letter of the variable and it autoinserts it and provides quotes and closing tags.. nothing faster than that. Split wysiwyg/code, behaviors, frames panel, etc etc.. lotsa good stuff in dw.

lol i wuld never trust dreamweaver or any other wysiwyg editor to do as good a job coding as i like.. It's merely a tool, and all tools needs o have strict attention payed to them. I'd never code a website in txtpad, no code formatting/coloring + autofill.

its tree planter maintenance, much funner than tree planting.. you carry a brush cutter saw thats kinda like a weed whacker with a skill saw blade on it, slices and dices thru tree up to 6 inches in diameter like butter..
