La douzième édition fut axée sur un lineup de djs psy et dnb accomplis et motivé! Yes! Mention particulière à dj Knox qui mixait dans sa première gig officielle! Mais aussi big up pour une décoration TRÈS réussi, bien pensée en fonction du thème du vendredi 13 et ses supertitions... Les yeux et la bouche du chat botté d'Alice au pays des merveilles dans la PSYroom, dans ce cadre, était délicieux. Le "mapping vidéo" était énorme, gracieuseté de VJ Neuronaut! Bravo à SPAK! décorations pour avoir isolé l'importance de ces éléments, c.à.d les yeux et la bouche du chat... (aussi merci à Ugo Artek de Neurotik d'avoir créé le chat du flyer qui inspira ces décorations!) Bbbrainstorming!
Triste élément manquant: manque de temps d'installer quelques lumières additionnelles dans la BASSroom... qui nous aurait permis d'apprécier le long travail de la décoratrice MARIEM... :/
Les photos pourront justifier l'effort et créer un certain souvenir...

Friday the 13th of July '12 was fkng hot... as in outdoor temperature. But with the AC working inside the space; the 11th edition of this theme oriented event went really cool actually. The Mystica Circus girls made sure to keep things hot late in the night by juggling with fire up on crutches! Props to Kloud N9ne from Cali for opening the Psy room with a smooth set... Many good comments have been following her around. Congrats to Florian MSK for a great live perform aswell! Being the organiser of the Bass room aka the techno island in this version, I spent the main parts of the night reppin' Tone Selleckt of 64hz minimal tech mix, Moebius's return to Montreal set after playing before 20000 peeps in Quebec city... The discovery of the Digital Commitee combo duo of Cruz Control's Yankat and Banditos's Seb. Great stuff! Bubbly tech & breaky drops and finally Dj Yann closing with acid tech. Sick.

Even with a few major events occuring the same weekend, around Montreal, proof was that enough Montrealers stayed in the city & gave a crispy vibe to this last Psybass the 13th event until the
next edition... in September 2013... Since PB13 events only occur on... friday the 13th.... Mouuuuhahahaha!!

After 7 years and 1 month to be exact, the once famed KO DnB events will expire as of june 2011. The founder Golgo 13 aka Mcken has decided to call it quits. I assume that 12 years of dedication is enough for the man. I was by his side for 5 of those years having also done my share of promotions/productions... ALL HAIL DnB/Jungle!!! We held the boat strong buddy. Let the new kids, the changing of the guards, decide of it's fate... A new concept will begin with the current KO residents, at le Petit Campus, as of July 8th 2011. Peace out Junglists.

Friday MAY 27th, from 112pm till 03am will occur the last KO hosted by Beat Concierge Prod. Shift Music will prevail aswell as Royal Crown & co. See ya on the dance floor...

Friday the 13th of August was the crib to my biggest collaboration yet.
We, Travel Spirit, Spak & I, organised what we feel was our best effort yet.
520 peeps + staff, decorations that defied, sound that graced us correctly.
Props to all circus performers, Vjs, Djs (without forgetting the amazing last
minute addition of the C.A.P.I.T.A.L. J !!) and staff (you know who you are
guys & galz!) that made Psybass the 13 V.7 a solid event.

Bref, nous avons été suggéré d'avoir une résidence hebdomadaire les mardis, mais c'est en verification présentement... Le Pearl est, jusqu'a nouvel ordre fermé pour cause administrative.
