This is the premier collaboration between Bass Mob & Dig iT aL. We thought if we're going to do it we might as well do it right! Thus we present to you: Sub Swara : [ www.subswara.com ] Sub Swara hails from Brooklyn, New York and plays music with a genre-bending bass weight that parallels the depth and diversity of its hometown. Consisting of Dhruva, Dave (Sharmaji) and Haj, with vocalist Juakali, Sub Swara’s music centers on a wide array of influences, from dub to dancehall to hip hop to punk rock to funk and global sounds. Meticulously crafted for both the dancefloor massive and the headspace, Sub Swara’s music unites tribes by bridging gaps across all lines. The crew blends both electronic production and live instrumentation into its recordings and performances, creating an intense, human touch in its modern, electronic sound. People are STILL raving about their last visit in Montreal, if you weren't one of the lucky ones, don't miss them this time around :D Eskmo: [ eskmo.com ] Brendan Angelides is a San Francisco based electronic music producer who records and performs live as Eskmo. His multi-genre compositions have been featured on influential labels like Warp Records and Planet Mu. While Angelides' tracks encompass a wide range of electronic styles, he avoids classifications. [ Bleep.com ] described his tracks as "Masterfully produced... sophisticated, post-Dilla hip-hop funk". His last single of 2009 entitled "Let Them Sing" on Mu was met with equal praise and described by sites like Boomkat as "[Putting] Eskmo on his own electronic plateau."
