Stephan Cummings, better known as Soundshaper has been blowing minds behind the decks for longer than you. Trust me. His approach to music is simple, anything goes. Alongside DJ Maus he waved the D&B flag at Blizzarts Saturdays for many years, and this thursday he's dropping an exclusive d&b set just for us, so don't sleep!



Serv One (Salt Lake City)
Serv One delivers fresh deep sounds overrun with familiar vocal anthems and teases, accomplishing two very important things; - keep the true junglist heads bobbin, - and lure in the newbies unfamiliar to his sound. Rinse Out is very proud to have our former Montreal transplant back in the hizzouse.



DJ Bind
Bind maybe be known for mixing breaks (and making a mean gin & tonic) but he has 2 other loves, they're known as Dubstep & Grime. Thursday night you'll get a healthy dose of both.

As most of you may or may not know, DJ Craze & MC Armanni were unable to perform at the show as planned on friday. The severe freezing rain combined with high wind-speeds caused all air traffic to be grounded across the east coast for most of that day. DJ Bind and Myself waited throughout the day as flight after flight got either delayed or cancelled. At about 3pm all Philidelphia flights were cancelled, which meant no MC Armanni. At around the time of the party's beginning, it became clear that Craze would not be able to make his connecting flight to Montreal, and be forced to find a hotel in New York for the night.

After alot of discussion, we decided best to keep the party going and make the best out of a bad situation. We dropped the door price from 15$ to 5$ (plus 1$ coatcheck which the club insisted upon). We also offered all pre-sale ticket holders a free drink of their choice, which we payed for out of our own pockets, tip included. Also, anyone seeking a full refund may hold on to their ticket and do so at their point-of-purchase.

I'd like to thank everyone that came out to the party despite the weather, and stuck around despite the headliner not making it out, it really was out of our control. Myself, DJ Bind, DJ Craze, MC Armanni and Contagious Musiq assure you that this event will be rescheduled at some point in the new year. We all worked really hard on this party and still want to see it happen, now more than ever!

On a side note I'd personally like to thank everyone who stuck it out and for their understanding. I was pretty upset for the first part of the night (for obvious reasons), but by the time i got on the decks...I must say I was speechless at the site of a full dancefloor, and straight through till after 3am!

I'd also like to thank Uzi, Andrea, Kate and all the staff at Academy for helping us explain the situation to party-goers and of course all you troopers who decided this was still a party worth checking out.
