Just saw on RDS that Craig Rivet HAS BEEN TRADED to the Sharks!!
In return we got Josh Gorges (his profile: [ www.nhl.com ] and the Sharks' 1st round pick.

I'm happy about this trade and i hope it may be a prelude to something bigger before the deadline on tuesday.

as much as I don't like him, Marc-Andre Fleury is a good example of a young goalie who began his NHL career early and, despite it taking a season or two (with a real shit team in front of him), he seems to be doing real well this year (the team in front of him got a lot better too! :D)

anyway, this is Price's second season (i think) in junior and he has international experience on top of that - i'd give him a chance next season, but only if he were our #1 since there's no point of him wasting a year of his development to p-lay every 6 or 7 games or so.

i think if we make the playoffs Huet might be ready for the 1st round. The way Halak has been playing, mind you, it wouldn't be such a big deal if Huet wasn't ready.

Now they can get rid of Abby (which is sad cause he seems real nice and his goalie mask rules!)and then possibly trade Huet and next season have a tandem of Carey Price and Halak. If all goes well mind you!

Well that was such a fucking anti-climax after the amazing episode last week. The show is so frustrating this season; you never know what you're gonna get (in a bad way). It's like watching the Habs play!! hehe

a little off topic, i know, but i happen to enjoy depressing movies - i;ve recently gone on a little Lars Van Trier trip - Dancer in the Dark is a little sombre and Dogville is depressing/funny (Nicole Kidman chained to a bed for 1/2 the movie)


But i was wondering if anyone has seen a movie called Salo, 120 Days of Sodom? It's apparently the most depressing/disturbing film ever made. I haven't seen it and don't know if i could handle it. I've heard glorious things about lotsa crazy Japanese film like The Audition and such, but i get grossed out way too easily!
