We're having a naughty night of dirty electro beats that are sure to make you get down and nasty all night long! w/DJs: BIGSTUFF (DJ/Producer) [613 Sessions / Bigstuff Productions / Sound Syndicate] [ www.bigstuffproductions.com ] BigStuff, aka Greg Campbell, first achieved national fame in the music scene with his now legendary Canadian hip-hop group “Organized Rhyme” where he and partner Tom Green garnered much critical acclaim including a Canadian Music Award and Juno nomination in the early 90‘s. Now known in Ottawa's electronic dance music scene for his distinctive and dirty electronic beats and heavy drum sound accompanied by sometimes twisted and always fantastic melodies and harmonies, BIGSTUFF has made a name for himself as one of the fastest growing talents behind the decks with gigs at Ottawa’s legendary Heaven Nightclub, Ritual, and The Clarendon to name a few. Depending on the event, BIGSTUFF is known to have one of the most diverse collections of music and will master any format he lays his hands on. Working with multiple clubs in Ontario he is a member and co-founder of Ottawa’s most notable DJ agency 'The Sound Syndicate', representing 16 of the most talented and sought after DJ’s in the area. ERIC ENERGY [Euphoria Afterhours] Energy would be a single word to describe this DJ. His smooth mixes and dynamic track selections prove that this is one DJ who knows how to fill a room with a limitless amount of intensity during his sets. Eric Energy can fill a floor with a wave of sound so vibrant and distinct that it's nearly impossible for anyone to refuse. A new school sound with an old school vibe is his distinctive trademark, making him one of the most recognizably sounding DJ's to ever come from the North. LS1 (Formerly Lushys) [UGZ / 613Massive] [ www.613massive.com ] DJing since 2001, LS1 has played alongside legends such as Luna-C, Dominik, Grimace, S.O.S, S4 and Rob Gee, to name a few. With his productions making big noise and being featured tracks on various leading online distributers, his presence is known from the Ottawa area and beyond. Expect an eclectic mix of hidden gems and crowd pleasing anthems from this diversive Ottawa veteran. Opening set by: DJ SIX [ danceradio.ca ] SIX has been heavily influenced by subgenres such as Electro House, Latino House, Commercial House, Tech House, Progressive House, Vocal Trance, Euro Trance, and Progressive Trance, to name a few. He has also been creating and distributing countless mixtapes to his Ontario and Quebec fans ever since he started DJ'ing. Since 2008 DJ SIX has permanently switched to using harmonic mixing techniques which greatly enhances his memorable performance sound, and is sure to leave you wanting more at the end of his set. --- Art by: STILES Stiles’ work is largely influenced by dance and disk jockey culture, elements of street art, and abstracted portraiture. Painting since childhood, he studies architecture at Carleton, and works as a DJ throughout Ottawa.
