Voyant sa date de lancement reculée, il réplique audacieusement en lançant lui-même deux singles qui suggèrent une approche plus vive dans sa production, et mondialise ses performances DJ en se produisant en Asie, en Amérique du Sud et en Australie. Il a enseigné à la Red Bull Music Academy de Madrid, sorti une compilation se voulant critique, FABRIC-LIVE, et remixé d’autres artistes tels que Radiohead, The xx et M.I.A. En parallèle de ces activités, Pearson gère Acetate, un bar à vinyl de la ville de Leeds, et assure le maintien du rôle de Hessle Audio sur les ondes de Rinse FM, comme l’une des programmations les plus importantes de la station londonienne. _______________ As one third of the team behind the Hessle Audio label, David Kennedy’s Pearson Sound moniker has become synonymous with cutting edge UK dancefloor music. Having stripped back his release schedule , somewhat defiantly hitting out with just a couple of self-released singles that hinted at a more vivid approach to his production this year, he’s truly taken his DJing global with his performances reaching as far afield as Asia, South America and Australia.
