| Info: | [b]Elevation[/b] Helsinki has been the only location in Ottawa willing to give the trance scene a monthly event that would be willing to give your feet a run for its money! Elevation has seemed to have found a place to stay in the Ottawa scene for good! The nights have been getting better and better with the months that pass. I know this night will only get better and better as the months proceed, so put on your best smile and make sure your fingers are well in shape for the air piano's on this night! DJs for the night are as follows: Tantric residents: [b]Chakra V[/b] and [b]Shaun Baker[/b] Elevation's featured DJ for the month: [b]DJ Joe Rowe[/b] Hailing from Newfoundland, Canada, Joe Rowe has been DJing for three years now, but in that short amount of time he has accomplished quite a lot in Ontario, Quebec, and out east. During his time spent in Newfoundland Joe was known for his Storming Hard Trance and Hardstyle, in addition to Progressive and Epic Trance. With the scene in Newfoundland being almost completely focused around House and Electro, Joe was exploring new territory with his uncommon selection of music... but that certainly didn't seem to stop him at all. Within 3 months of buying his first set of decks Joe had won the amateur DJ competition in Newfoundland against 10 other competitors, all the while playing trance to partiers that never really had any exposure to it. This win sparked a fury of memorable gigs all across the province. One of the most notable being the "Red cliff Rave", playing 3 hours of the hardest beats for 1000 screaming party-goers. In recent years Joe has moved to Ottawa, Canada, and has played a number Trance shows in and around the Ottawa area. Joe has also been featured on CHUO FM 89.1 Friday nights in Ottawa and has been called "one of Ottawa's most entertaining DJ's". In addition, Joe has recently expanded his music library to include house, breaks and electro among other electronic genres. The expansion resulted in a number of memorable performances in the Ottawa area, including sets at People Move Monday's, Onaversal's Student Thursdays, and upcoming sets at Sundaze. He was also given the opportunity to play alongside Global DeeJays at Montreal's largest nightclub "The Dome", and travels frequently out east for additional performances.
