| Info: | Sundaze will still be open for your listening and dancing pleasure this Sunday @ Mavericks, to aid in your recovery from the New Year's festivities of the weekend before. We're showcasing Sundaze resident Dj's this week, and these lads know just the thing that's good for what ails you... more of the same! Even though we'll miss Surface for a few weeks while they prepare to take things to the next level, there is still some after-hours fun to be had for Ottawa in the mean-time. So, whether you're joining us after a house party, Gatineau after-hours, or even waking up early to spend the day with us, we've got plenty of good music in store for you! We're going to take this time to showcase some of our hardworking resident Dj's. On Sunday January 8th, we start the year off with music from Abe Van Dam, Deedot, Easton Ellis, Luc Labelle, and Dj Z. DEEDOT and EASTON ELLIS: These guys have had some crazy momentum lately, gigging all over the Nation's Capital, and both of these talented Dj's have advanced ahead into the Surface UDJ Comp Semi-Finals! With all the hype, you know there's something behind it. Come out and see what these lads have been doing to draw so much attention. With their talent for diverse track selection and seamless mixing, you know they'll keep you on the dancefloor all day! ABE VAN DAM: He's the quiet tribal giant of the Sundaze crew. While he may keep a low profile for the most part, this man can really bring the drums and pounding rhythms to the dancefloor. His following is growing week by week, and with good reason. This incredible Dj never disappoints, watch as the dancefloor fills with people and energy as soon as Abe steps behind the decks. Abe is one to watch out for in 2006! LUC LABELLE: The Sundaze French Connection! Luc joined us last year after impressing the socks off of everyone at our first Sundaze Up-n-Comerz with deep and delicious progressive sounds. We invited him back as a monthly resident, but only after one more gig we saw that this guy had talent deserving of more exposure. Now with a monthly pub night and many guest Dj appearances at club nights across town, Luc is well worth checking out for your fix of smooth progressive. Finally, you'll be hearing a little taste of DJ Z: Dj Z is usually seen helping with the day to day of Sundaze, and it's been a while since Z was behind the decks as he's been on hiatus from Sundaze lately. But, this guy will be out to drop some great tracks for one and all as he jumps back behind the decks after months off.
