Boot Camp Click Tour [ Static Link : iCal ]
City:Canada, Ontario, Ottawa
Time:Sat Nov 5, 2005 @ 10:00pm
Info:On Saturday, November 5, 2005, Kapacity Entertainment proudly presents one of hip-hop’s most successful crews, Boot Camp Clik, featuring Buckshot, Smif & Wessun, and Sean Price (a.k.a Ruck from Heltah Skeltah), at Barrymore’s Music Hall.

Boot Camp Clik exploded into the hip-hop world in the early nineties with Buckshot’s group, Black Moon, and their album, Enta Da Stage. The album sold over 350,000 units, which features classic songs like Who Got the Props? and How Many MC’s?, and was accompanied by several successful 12” remixes, such as I Got Cha Open and Buck Em Down. Next up was Smif n Wessun’s debut, Dah Shinin’, which sold over 300,000 copies and produced a number of successful singles, including Sound Bwoy Bureil and Bucktown. Boot Camp’s song, Headz Ain’t Redee, and the Fab 5 (Heltah Skeltah and O.G.C.) 12” single had BCC fans eagerly anticipating Ruck and Rock’s debut in 1996, Nocturnal. Heltah Skeltah’s album received a huge response, selling over 250,000 units and the group was nominated for best new group in The Source magazine. In 1997 the whole crew got together and released, For Da People, which ended up selling over 250,000 copies.

This year Boot Camp Clik reminded to the world that they haven’t got anywhere with the release of three full-length albums: Buckshot and 9th Wonder’s (Little Brother) Chemistry, Smif & Wessun’s Reloaded, and Sean Price’s Monkey Barz. These albums are receiving the same results as with all their previous projects, wide acclaim and large amounts of units sold.

Due to their infectious sound and powerful lyrics, many of the industry’s best have sought to work with Boot Camp. Artists like DJ Premier, Tupac, Fat Joe, Q-Tip, Mary J. Blige, KRS-One, Masta Ace, and many others have produced several high caliber collaborations with the BCC. Boot Camp Clik’s live show has been perfected by over a decade of touring around the world with respected artists such as these and on their own sold-out tours. Buckshot, Smif & Wessun, and Sean Price are ecstatic to give the nation’s capital a huge dose of classic and new material.
