| Info: | This week for the Sundaze after-party, we're proud to have DJ Hu-e and Mark Hughes joining us at Acqua for a day chock-full of pounding house beats. These two DJ's have an arsenal of heavy-hitting house they're just waiting to unleash on the Sundaze crowd. So, whether you're joining us after Stephan Grondin at Surface, or if you're just coming out early for a day of great music, Sundaze is your dance-floor destination DJ HU-E (RhythmWorks, Onaversal): Huy Nguyen aka DJ Hu-e has working behind the decks for many years. He started earlier in his career spinning hip-hop, showing a greater interest in dj'ing after some club experiences in LA. Over the years his style has changed from hip-hop to funkier and harder sounds such as chicago house and booty, but now he mainly focusses on filtered/funky/electro house. Hu-e has held monthly residencies at Ottawa clubs such as V.I.B.E. and Mercury Lounge, where he also ran a monthly event by the name of 'Elevated'. This later evolved into a weekly event by the name of 'Subliminal, that went strong for a long while at the Umbrella Room in Ottawa. Since then, DJ Hu-e he has played at many different venues throughout the Nation's Capital, such as Buddha Bar, MTL & Co., The Collection, and Surface Nightclub... along with larger scale events such as Cycle with Palash/Preach/Luke Fair, Delicious with Rob Brown at Helsinki Lounge & Disco, and OM Festival 2004. DJ MARK HUGHES (Directly Driven Productions): A regular face supporting the Ottawa scene for years, Mark brings his hard house sound to Sundaze after-parties for a return visit that will definitely keep you moving. Mark was the winner of the Narcosis Thursdays DJ Idol competition in 2004, and is now a member of Directly Driven Productions and is a resident at Euphoria after-hours in Quebec. Come and see what this rising star has to offer the dancefloors in Ottawa for 2005!!
