| Info: | The "unofficial" after-party to celebrate Surface bringing house music legend Louie Vega to Ottawa! To make this party unique and memorable, we're "breaking" from the usual mold at Sundaze to showcase something musically a little different: Funky house and breaks! :) On APRIL 3rd 2004, Sundaze & Acqua Nightclub are proud to present: TRIP THE LIGHT FUNKTASTIC w/ guest DJ's: RAISSA (Surface, Velvet) & DJ PLUSH (Paradox Productions) Raissa and Plush have been staples in the Ottawa dance club scene for years. Always playing incredible music and mixing with skill and ease, these two femme fatales are guaranteed not to disappoint! Raissa has agreed to grace the decks at Acqua with a special HOUSE & BREAKS set for us. Get ready, because Plush will be following up with a jam of some of her signature FUNKY BREAKS. Anyone who's been clubbing in Ottawa over the last several years knows that these two great talents have the experience and ability to always get the dancefloor moving. ...and as if THAT wasn't enough funk, to start things off, we have: DJ TYRONE (Directly Driven Productions) playing a funky house opening set. We know Elliot has been "bumpin' tha funk" for Ottawa for years. A great DJ who knows what makes people shake their ass on the dancefloor. To keep the party pumping we also haven't forgotten our Sundaze regulars who like things a little harder... so, to keep things slamming the rest of the morning, our residents Easton Ellis and Abe Van Dam will join forces as the tribal incarnation they call "The Sound Gods". We've been warned that you'll need to bring an extra pair of shorts after these two gentlemen have finished mangling your eardrums with their tribal house audio assault! Finally, Sundaze is proud to have our extremely talented resident DEEDOT turn it up a notch after our guests have "funked" your ass, as he will "scratch" your ass with one of his renowned BREAKS sets. Sundaze has been waiting a long time to hear Deedot let loose with the style that comes most naturally to him.
