Nation Events, Onaversal & Helsinki are proud to present an X-mas day bash, as we reunite and welcome back some of Ottawa's favorite djs and promoters that have moved away. Let's celebrate the holidays in style as we remind everyone why we call Ottawa our home. Hosted by Ira (Magika), Pablo Diablo, Plush, Ramon (.bb.), Sergio, Speaker Phreaker & S4 (and more tba... Main Room (funky house, filtered disco, tribal, etc...): Rob Solo (Frisky, Subsonic / Taiwan) *Exclusive Disco House Set* Rob Solo ran Ottawa's longest running club night, Subsonic, at one of the most missed venues, The Well. Doing shows in Taiwan, he won't be back again in Ottawa again for at least a year. So come out and check out Rob as he will destroy the Helsinki dancefloor for the very first time, since The Well. Serge Theriault (One Degree / Activate / Montreal) Founder of Full Force, One Degree and Activate @ Element, which won Tribe's award for best mid-week club night in Toronto (2003). Now residing in Montreal, Serge is also making his long awaited return to the former Well. Graham J [ ] The Godfather of xvi and the Ottawa rave scene... this guy needs no introduction! & a very special guest! Lounge (breaks, garage, old school, etc...): Jonny Mac (Next Level / Vancouver) Founder of Next Level Promotions, DJ Jonny Mac returns from Vancouver, who has played the main room of one Vancouver's top club Sonar last year, and staying active with gigs in local Van City clubs. Richniques (Thoughtlab / [ club246.com ] / Iceworks / Peppa Crew / TO) Known to most people as The MC of the party, he and his crew have a long history in urban music. Playing soulful house, 2step flavors and other urbanstylz this dj knows how to rock any party! Ask the people who saw him play after Mark Farina on Canada Day at the NATION party (2003). Rich is now also a host on [ www.club246.com ] (an internet radio station) which also plays on the radio in TO & now in Ottawa on CHIN FM 87.9 fm. Oliver Macintosh (Arc / Underbar / TO) Specialist of soulful, jazzy, funky and deep house grooves, this former Ottawa dj+promoter has played all over Ottawa (and has played alongside artists like Roy Davis Jr, Graca, Heather, Dj Dub, Armand Van Helden, etc...).
