This will be a party you can't miss. Featuring Dj Franco Fabi and Bruno Brown (Montreal). Combine the funky charisma of Franco Fabi and the soulful style of Bruno Brown and you have two DJs who get records – as well as heads – spinning with grooves and vibes that take the club experience to a whole new level. While both artists have established themselves on an individual basis in the last year, the October 23 performance at the Helsinki Lounge is a rare opportunity for some shared spinning. Fabi, whose dynamic style and daring touch have made him one of the most exciting DJs on the Montreal scene, has worked alongside the likes of Anthony Pappa, Steve Lawler and Roger Sanchez and has toured extensively, including a recent DJ gig that brought him to France, Italy, Tunisia and Lebanon. On the home front, he has carved out a reputation that has firmly positioned him in the upper echelon of Canadian DJs. The effervescent Brown, a leader in his discipline of electronic music, has developed the knack for rocking every house he spins in, masterfully using his keen ear and magic mixing talent to meld sensual sounds with Afro Latin beats to produce an exhilarating musical experience. The Montreal mixer has collaborated with such international DJs as Baby Hec Romero, Onionz, Mr. C and DJ Pierre.
