| Info: | Well we've finally narrowed it down to 2 very talented DJ's. I would like to thank everyone who entered and supported Velvet's first annual DJ search. I would also like to thank all the judges and our sponsors: FLEET SOUND & LIGHTING [ www.fleetsound.com ] SHURE (Dj gear) [ www.shure.com ] FUNF CLOTHING SHORELINE SURFACE [ www.surface-nightclub.com ] This competiton was truly a great succes, not only did we get introduced to many great up-coming DJ's but we also made many new friends and exposed our great scene to many new people. Surface is also very greatful for the much appreciatede energy and early club traffic it created. The semi finals were really tight and very hard for the judges to score. Danny K , Chakra V, Mikey Siorek amd Roman K all played amazing sets, but after all the scores were added up the final two DJ's who are competing this Saturday are... ROMAN K & CHAKRA V Congratulation to our two finalist's competiing this saturday. Make sure to come out and support these two great DJ's. The winner of the 2004UDJ Comp will be announce right after the sets are done. Prizes will also be awarded along with some new and very exciting announcements for our four finalists. * ALL DJ"S WHO ENTERED THE COMPETITION WILL BE ON THE GUEST LIST* (B4 midnight) Comp starts at 10.30pm sharp! Doors open at 10pm Admission: $8 b4 midnight (toggle attendee list and pay only $5 b4 midnight) |
