ONLY $3 ALL NIGHT @ THE DOOR. with EVERFRESH - On Point, Toronto RYU! - Badman Press, Ottawa and residents MARY MAC & CHRIS KELLETT *Ladies free before 11 *$2.50 drinks before 12 *$3.50 beers all night Since the early 1980's Everfresh has had music in his blood, trained in music for several years and deeply entrenched in the underground scene Everfresh caught the DJ bug at an early age, playing house parties at the age of 10, and perfecting his craft before he hit high school. Everfresh progressed at an alarming rate, playing Hip Hop and early 90's House music at local house parties and school dances in Scarborough, Ontario. In 1993 Everfresh found his calling within the early hardcore / jungle culture that he discovered through the airwaves of local community radio stations. As a result of his tremendous dedication he became a staple of the Toronto scene in a short few months and became a regular at every drum and bass event in the city. This persistence paid off quickly for Everfresh in the form of highly coveted slots at the legendary Knowledge night at The Tunnel Night Club as well as a weekly slot on CKLN’s Rinse Out show on 88.1 FM every Saturday. These and many other accomplishments gained him much exposure in the entire north american jungle community as well as helping him establish several key contacts in the U.K. This led to residencies between 1994-2000 for such companies as Back 2 Back, Urban Unit and Sound Warfare as well as slots for the likes of Syrous, Renegades, Dose, Lifeforce, Liquid Adrenaline, Junglist Movement, AWOL, Vinyl Syndicate, Lucid, Nation, System Soundbar, Empire, Comfort Zone, FBI, Scattabrains, Industry, Strickly Jungle, Synthetic, Euphonic, M&J, Mad Bar, Chaotic Vibes, Soundbwoy, Voltron Force (Buffalo), and a residency for Toronto/US company pHryL. Everfresh has since played in virtually every significant drum and bass hotspot in the north american contintent not to mention on the other side of the ocean, including: London (UK), Vancouver, Miami (WMC), Buffalo (NY), Rochester (NY), Pickering (Ajax), Ottawa, Kitchener, Barrie, Guelph, Hamilton, St. Catherines and Brampton. Everfresh can currently be heard at his many residencies, including: Theory (Canada’s Top DNB Company) as well as weeklies at System Soundbar (Wednesdays), Afterlife Niteclub (Thursdays), Knowledge Fridays @ The Sound Emporium, and Liquid Funk @ Milano (Sundays). He can also be found on SOURCE FM on radio station [ 1GROOVE.COM ] 89.5 FM every Friday night as well as guest slots on CIUT 89.5 FM. Everfresh’s inimitable style has placed him as one of the elite class in the history of North American drum and bass culture. Today Everfresh’s diverse edeavours include his label project entitled On Point Recordings, which sets a clear focus on the goal of exposing the abundant local talent found in Toronto. After four successful releases with their distibutor Nu-Urban Music, the On Point camp are set to bring the best that north america has to offer for the worldwide drum and bass community.
