| this is why i only party in tdot now.
2-3 years ago, we had headliners all the time. i remember seeing marcus intallex, digital, kenny ken, mickey finn, dj rap, ak1200, dieselboy, roni size and reprazent and a few more. problem is, only the same 20 junglists came out for these events so people stopped throwing them.
now we're lucky if capital j comes to town.
since then, toronto has become the biggest city outside the UK for drum n bass. their parties are starting to have as many headliners as a UK DnB party.
they had a party last month with Ed Rush and Optical, Suv, Adam F, Pendulum, Shimon, MC Rhyme and MC MC. they had a party in february with Roni Size, Craze and Kenny Ken as headliners. they had a party in november with Dillinja, Lemon D, Teebee, Photek and Juju headlining. in three parties, they've had more headliners than Montreal has had for as long as i've been into jungle. |
