to go on with this tangent:
so who is good with trackers i am used to modplug are there any other programs you may suggest that may allow quicker work i know that modplug is pretty strong because it has support for vst effects now definitely a bonus but what about scream tracker i know its old but does it allow for easier work or something i dunno just curious if i had a computer at home i would be making beats on modplug all the time! |

I normally use madtracker. It has a few more effects than the other ones. I actually paid for it |

See what i don't understand is why not use it all.
FLStudio lets you rewire other software. Right now i'm working on a track thats re-wired with Reason & Fruityloops. Reason is powerful yes, but Reason and Fruityloops together is just insane. |

can someone explain how to rewire these programs together...i haven't used FL since the beta version of teh first one, but i remember there were some things i liked about it, that i'm sure coupled with reason, that i'm sure i'd be able to get much use from, i just don't konw how |

I perso really like the feel to FL.. and i really think that paul is throwing away his money by moving to protools.. (Unless you plan on releasing an album in the next year or so).
Cubase is great, if you have the time to learn it all. It can work wounders with sounds, but for me, its a little bit out of my league (for now). To say that FL sucks, well, that can be your opinion.. But to me, there is no other sequencer that works so smoothly and clearly.. The only thing is, people that use FL get lazy and recycle the default sounds, making all there tracks "feel" the same (myself included here). So once again, its not about what software you use, its about how good of quality samples you have, your structure, and your creativity.. If you can't express your creativity with FL, thats cool, use the other softs, but don't say it sucks just cause YOU suck with it.. :) |

I can't wait till Olee and I finish the track we're working on presently. It will hush all of you regarding the power of FL Studio. |

I still fail to see why people argue about fruity loops other than to instigate nonsense. I just think that protool/cubase/logic users are jealous or afraid. Which is the only reason why they jump at the chance to put down FL Studio. |
