I highly recommend that you check your legal reference material... Just cause a law isnt enforced doesnt mean it's simply annulled. Jaywalking is illegal but not enforced. Spitting at someone is (according to the law) assault. Uttering death threats or racist remarks cannot simply be justified by freedom of speech... Ignorance is not a justified excuse for breaking the law... eventhough these people who run escort agencies know that ultimately what they're doing is illegal, they take certain precautions to avoid getting caught which involves the lack detail in their ads. They're probably equaly as vague on the phone. I'd bet if you called up & said "I'm looking for a girl to fuck for 2 bills" they'd assume you were an undercover cop and say some bullshit to protect themselves like: "Sorry we can't help you..." or "We provide escorts purely for companionship, anything further needs to be discussed with the individual once you've met." Pimping prostitutes isn't legal however we live in a society where prostitution has become very accepted. Escort agencies are simply corporate pimps and since the company itself is incorporated, it acts as a seperate entity that way no employees take the fall (should there be a raid) aside from the acting president (who usually isn't even one of the owners / main shareholders)... If you wanna go somewhere where prostitution is fully legal I suggest moving to Holland. |
