Well, I'm not exactly looking for good food in this area, so I don't notice things like that.

Of course, leave it to me to find the best polish chicken in montreal somewhere in the maze of side-streets between StLaurent and StDenis, somewhere around Marie-Anne....

I'm like toucan sam. I follow my nose to good food.

I don't quite remember. I remember wandering the area last summer, rather high, and I got lost in the side streets and found a good smell, so I followed it and it turned out to be a restauraunt.

They also make AMAZING BBQ'ed quail!

Quail is great! Tastes better than chicken! They make really good quail at Janos on StLaurent, a few blocks south of Mt Royal. It's a tiny bird though, so like, if you want a whole meal of only that as your meat, you need to eat like at LEAST 4, usually closer to 6.

BBQ'ed, they're about the size of a picture. Pretty small, but damn tasty!

I've never head that quails are a traditionnal Polish dish. Pheasants, kidna. Potatoes, rye, stews and starches; yes.
