50 hours and still going strong!

another 22 hours and the physical dependance will be gone

but the psychological dependance will always be there :(

this time i'm gonna do it

any tips on how to deal with the rage that comes with quitting?
every other time i've tried to quit that's what got me started again, all i wanted to do was kill people.

you need to quit, should known me when i was 4 / 5
i threw all my moms cigaretts out,,man she hated it, i threw them out the car, in the toilet, off bridges, down sewers, stompped them, i even put one she was smoking out with my finger, though, right after that it didn't seem so smart, but she quit, pretty soon after that one

funnily enough, i used to be like that to.
i was the biggest anti-smoker, up til i was 18.

i finally actually WANT to quit though, after being totally addicted to this crutch for the past 8 years, i need to stop.
i'm just terrified of how insanely angry i get

it's so weird. steve just quit last week, he doesn't bitch about it, never mentions wanting a smoke, and actually has 2 or 3 packs of cigarettes lying around his appt and he won't throw them out cause he wants to give them to someone. i admire that much willpower. cheers.

Seriously, all it takes is having willpower. Fuck, you people are still in charge of your bodies and you are in charge of how you handle things mentaly. You wanna quit smoking, it's not like someone is hypnotizing you and making you do it against your will. It is your CHOICE to pick up the pack, it is YOUR CHOICE to take out a smoke, it is YOUR CHOICE to spark up and it is YOUR CHOICE to inhale. No matter how much of a physical dependancy you may have on it, YOU still CONTROL your own body.

Do, or do not.

There is no try.

i tried the patch, it made me nothing short of MEGA anxious and panicky. i guess it varies from person to person, but I really don't recommend it, nor do I reccommend Zyban, as I've heard absolute horror stories about it.

Use yr willpower, its stronger than any bullshit they sell in a pharmacy.

Thumbtacks?
