| Magnolia is actually one of the movies I'd heard about not being typical hollywood crap, so I'm willing to give that one a shot, too.
But Tom Cruise, in a movie with "Samurai" in the title, I'm a little skeptical. It seems to me like a stretch to take anything that Tom Cruise does that's widely "mainstream" as being serious. |

| Tom Hanks is over-rated. Castaway was a crock of shit, the only thing that was any good about that was the fact that there was no "musical" soundtrack that every other "dramatic" movie on the planet abuses.
Tom Hanks was good in Big and in The Burbs. The rest I could do without. |
