in fiction fantasy?
fucking Robert Jordan His Wheel of Time saga is more epic than any fantasy story except maybe for Lord of the Rings, even then it will surpass it. But Wheel Of time is not just heroes, swords, and power, it is actually about relationships between men and women.... [ www.tor.com ] |

For this genre, I'd say it was Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. They wrote the original Dragonlance serries of books. Best stuff evar. |

for this kind of book, if you like robert jordan and terry goodkind, ya have to read the series by elizabeth haydon. it's so well written, i'd say it's almost better than the sword of truth series......the last few in the series anyways. |

I definately love Terry Goodkind, although right now the series is a bit slow and I've put it aside for a while.
another favourite is George R.R. Martin, I cannot WAIT for the fourth book! |

wizards first rule to faith of the fallen...excellent. The gar war was amazing.
Pillars of creation was lame, cos it had nothing to do with richard or kahlan. Naked army better be damn good, ive been waiting for this book for over a year...now i have to wait for paper back which will be another 6 months...but anyways...im crossing my fingers. |
