I know none of you were probably alive during his life, but today marks the 40th anniversary of his death.
Kennedy was very special to my family and still is to me today. While my father served in the Marines he was responsible for protecting his sleeping quarters whenever Kennedy was on his ship. I grew up hearing wonderful stories about how nice a man he was and how good he was at what he did. I can't help but wonder how much better the world might be today if Kennedy had lived to serve his two terms. He was, without question, one of the best diplomats in the history of the world. Infact, the world as we know it today might not exist if it wasn't for Kennedy's handling of the cold war. Anyways. Thats all I have to say. |

oh yes, let's hail a president for not pushing the button.
And next we'll praise a serial killer who murdered 65 people for not having murdered 66. |

Man, in so little time, he did soo much.
If you want me to make a list of things he did I will. But I don't have the time now. "And next we'll praise a serial killer who murdered 65 people for not having murdered 66." If it wasn't for Kennedy's cool head under pressure there probably would not be a United States right now. The cuban missle crisis was as close as we will ever see to nuclear war. And it was damn close. |

neoform, remember that russians were the ones who had the choice of pushing the button 1st..
that guys saved everbody`s ass.. and you probably wouldn't have been here now it's a sad fact that a good man like JFK was assassinated, the woulrd would have been such a better place and USA would have been a totally different country than what it is now |

I sympathize with the Kennedys because I believe JFK was assassinated by the US Gov't (mainly) to cover up the whole moon-landing conspiracy... however surely that wasnt the sole reason.

Lyndon johnson had him killed, JFK wanted to pull out of vietnam - too much $ to be made
his bro was also assassinated just as he announced he was running for prez and was gonna re-open the investigation/discussion into jfk's death (the kennedy's know what happened but dont wanna get themselves killed either) since then the SOUTH has been running the U S ... (ie north never won the civil war) what did JFK do for the world? hmmm lets see something called civil rights? what about sleeping with marilyn monroe? going to space? fighting the mob?fighting the fbi (hoover)& its "non constitutional" methods? also a few bad things tho (making politics into a "beauty" contest so to speak) |

the president has little to nothing to do with the moon landing.
all he's capapble of doing is throwing money at something then taking credit when it works. |
