 Coolness: 91640 | Yeah, no headliners but very enjoyable party and really good psytrance was played. I don't remember enjoying psytrance sober as much as I did during this party. So it was defintely worth it for me. Defintely the musical highlight for me was hearing Vince play an amazing high energy psytrance set.
The bus ride over to the sugar shack was hilarious. The "bus" had about 5 seats and then a chill area in the back stuffed with mattresses and everyone had to cram in. Felt like a bunch of mexicans being smuggled across the border. Or like a bus ride into a higher dimension of consciousness. The deco and trip screen were amazing, and the silouette of the dj in front of the visuals created a god-like appearance. Awesome. The people in this party were mostly the ravemontreal candykids and not the regular psychedelic community, which seemed to be avoiding this party for some reason. Now despite what everyone says about them candykids, the undeniable LAW of candykids is that they are awesome to party with. Among my "candy" encounters of the night: - candykid giving me light show while i am meditating. didnt realize it at first, was wondering what these brilliant flashes and lightning strikes of color are in the insides of my eyelides. then opened my eyes and whooooaaa - some other people were doing bodyart with glow in the bluelight marker, got my arm decorated. guy was actually talented. So once again i met some cool people as well as seeing many friends and acquantances. Leaving the party in the morning i had excellent breakfast and discussion with liam, andre, and red. The only disapointment for me was that i couldnt get my hands on any acid, so (regretably) another sober weekend. |

I was dissapointed for missing Liam at this party.. fuck, i was looking, but nothing came through.. :( Regardless that all the headliners were missing, i had a blast, listening to some good beats, and sharing my music with others.. people were dancing, i was smiling.... :) |

 Coolness: 238570 | Well Vince i was there ....i spent most of the night dancing my ass off. There was secound room, but only went in there twice( @ start & finish). I took the 11 pm bus...which was a interesting ride for sure. Props for the decro. Even with there being no headliners @ all the local dj's did a wicked job of put on some sick psy trance...loved every beat...props to the dj's on this one...thank you ...you all made me smile:). Nice thing about there not being that many people there i was dancing in the crowd:) Was glad when the speaker problem was sorted out . Asaph was great to meet you .... sure that i will see you around again. 4:20 thank you for the clock...you surpried me , which in this case is a great thing. Was glad that i had a $5 ticket for this party:). I loved the location ...nice venue even if it was out of town. As always meet some really nice people @ this party. Was nice seeing Andrea & Red again.
Once again beyond the problems the people putting this on had....psy trance partys have their own feel & vibe which rocks my world every time. Vince you where bopping away when you where spining ...made me dance even harder...thnaks Lee |

| Coolness: 509510 | :) it was definetely better for those who paid under 20$, i paid 15 i believe and I thought it was worth every penny. The 7$ for the bus ride was worth it simply because of that crazy bus! I want one! The people in the back were very friendly, especially when we were all literally crammed against each other. The musical peaks were defnitely Asaph(props!) and Clown(i want that set! hehe), no question about that. But all the other were doing their job as well!
If there were energy drinks it would have been perfect (a psychological thing but I still felt like I NEEDED one). and about hose candy kids, they made the night just more colorful, and that's a good thing! thanx everyon involved for hosting/playing/partying at that rave. YOU made it what it was. PEaCE |
