 Coolness: 59740 | i adopted a cat at the spca about 10 days ago.
when i brought her home, she caught a kitty cold, which isn't uncommon. the other cat i adopted had the same thing. except my new cat, ninja, didn't get better. she can barely walk and she hasn't eaten in 3 days. my girlfriend just took her to the vet and they said she has a really bad respiratory infection. she can hardly breathe through her nose cause of all the snot and apparently her mouth is filled with ulcers :( they have to keep her there and they don't know if she'll make it. this REALLY sucks!!! |

i really hope she's going to get better. my girlfriend is in tears over this. milkshoes, that sucks about your cat :( my suggestion is talk to the spca. their services are really cheap, and they might make some sort of payment arrangements with you. |

a few days ago, one of them got really sick and she had to rush her to the vet around midnight turns out, her kitty had a very common virus that basically eats up your insides. It stays dormant in their system for 11-12 days and kills them within 24 hours.. :( thankfully, the other kitty is okay |

what my cat has is normal for an adopted cat to have. but it got progressively worse instead of better. all this may have been prevented if we had taken her to vet earlier. i hate this. it sucks :( i'm gonna go visit her tomorrow. |

i hope it's the former, not the latter. and she definetly is a fighter. she's called ninja cause she's completely black from head to paw. i'm pretty confident she can fight for her health. |
