they may temporarily give you a good quality you dont have sober..but they definatly do NOT make you a better person..especially after ur high is gone...

Well, yeah, if your someone who lives only for self-gratification and isn't interested in any sort of self-improvement, sure. But some people ACTUALLY learn things about themselves when high that they can change once sober.

ive learned alot..but does that mean im a better person? of course it doesnt. It has given me a better perspective on some things..and a worse one on others...but i disagree with anyone saying it can make you a better person. it can improve your views on some things..but better person isnt the right term to use i dont think

yeah not EVERYone....I dunno what kind of people u hang out with but they might just be prone to becoming fucked up anyways......it's the same thing when it comes to addiction, some people have a very addictive personalities (I know some) and as soon as they do a bit they gotta get more and more and some are like "well that was fun, I gotta go to work ealry in the worning....later dudes."

or some people don't realise what they do when they're high and some are like "Dude, chill the fuck out. It's normal we're high.....geez."

here's a funny quote to help some people chill...

No, I don't do drugs anymore, either. But I'll tell you something about drugs. I used to do drugs, but I'll tell you something honestly about drugs, honestly, and I know it's not a very popular idea, you don't hear it very often anymore, but it is the truth: I had a great time doing drugs. Sorry. Never murdered anyone, never robbed anyone, never raped anyone, never beat anyone, never lost a job, a car, a house, a wife or kids, laughed my ass off, and went about my day.

Have to admit i feel a whole lot better since i didn't do chemicals for months and months ..
Not even by choice ...it just happened to be this way ..

Would never give up weed thought ...
And a good cracked-out session someday wouldn't be that bad ....

yeah, being off the chemicals for a few months now feels a lot better most of the time, but sometimes I miss being happy, even if it was just the mdma.

Jesus do I need to smoke some weed before my fucking head explodes.

i find it quite interesting that on the board where this was originally posted, many people replied that drugs had influenced them in profoundly positive ways, while here post of the replies have been along the lines of "wtf, drugs don't make u any better"

personally, the only reason i decided to do most drugs was PRECISELY the fact that I beleived that drug use could expand my mind and emotions in positive ways, so perhaps the expectations and beleifs you have regarding drugs influence what you do with the experiences.

if anyone is curious to read the responces from the other board (its interesting stuff) it is here: [ www.bluelight.nu ]

That's the diffrence between the people on this board and the people on that board. The people on that board have learned from just "getting fucked up" and have learned to explore themselves inteligently, whereas here it's nothing but a buch of fucking addicts fixated on their next fix. They're just addicted to being high and getting there any way possible and don't look inwards enough.

hmmm....i have to say my PAST drug use did alot of good for me. I was capable of getting into the at a YOUNGER age then most, use them to the point where i was expanding mysef emotionally and mentally, then getting the fuck off htem as fast as possible, before i picked up all the other bad side effects.
