IDJ isnt a good idea if you wanto give the image of a "typical rave".

A rave is a party that can last up to 12h, if not a period a few days. Many ravers take drugs such as E and speed to stay up and dance. Most go for the music, some go for the crowd. The image of a "typical raver" is pretty much... someone with candy (plasic beads) bracelets, holding glowsticks and a waterbottle, chewing on a pacifier, very large pants (phat pants), and an illusion as a state of mind.

and uh yeah.

bwahaha... ask phil vitone - he must have a HUGE collection of rave movies.

ben and josh made a movie about cloud 4 last year. Julien and others had scenes from cloud 5 in their movie for "the street"... and i animated a short thing on cloud 5...

but basically ask phil and you will get millions of other movies to look over.

Say djAmalgalm, you work @ Technicolor/Thompson ?

Can you get cheap fees for film development ?

I shoot 16mm a lot, but I go to Vision Globale: cheaper students fees and friendlier service.

I always feel like my project is lost between two copy-making of the last Lord of the Flies when I go to Technicolor... Moreover, they've fucked up my answer prints a couple of times, ...but if you can assure my order will be taken care of seriously...

Anyway, always good to know people from your town who work with FILM, not video...

Yeah i work for Thomson on and off. I could understand why you feel like that sometimes. Unfortunately I cant really get you better prices since I am not a service man, im only a positive inspector. If you wanna give us a shot, talk to Jean-Paul Mageren, he's my favorite service man. Film rules. Digital sucks. HD even sucks. Just keep it clean :P

Ask Jesse Hunter. I was in his class like 2 semesters ago and he had a few films he showed about electronic muzak. One of 'em was on the Montreal rave scene if I remember correctly. Who's your teach?
