do you know what your protesting??
You are protesting peace and oppertunity for 3rd world countries. You are protesting organizations that try to bring the world together through shared intrests. You ar protesting something you probably know little or nothing about. |

Capitalism is unfortunate. My circle believes in educationalism. Yet we have been brought up in a materialistic monster and monsters can only give birth to more monsters. god help us all. |

The WTO doesn't really support third world countries. They only make you believe they do. The WTO is one of those good concepts/bad planning things that we see so many times.
Look at this: The WTO wants to eliminate trade tariffs on beef imports. This would allow cheap beef from farmers in africa to be sold in Canada, effectively putting canadian farmers out of business. This is just one example out of hundreds where the WTO doesn't really do much. It attempts to balance out economic powers in all the wrong ways. |

You know what? Maybe if half of the protesters werent such mindless dolts, then protesting might make a statement.
As far as I (and I'm sure many others) are concerned, breaking the windows to a Burger King, several boutiques, and vandalizing numberous cars, isn't going to make a positive statement. Do you want to listen to someone who is screaming or someone who is talking in a mature, rational manner? Maybe if half of the kids knew what they were actually protesting ABOUT, instead of just being out there as an excuse to riot, then their voices *might* just be heard. Too bad thats not the case. |

if only there were more people aware of their power, there wouldn't be closed meetings to set the rules for our future. |
