... Maaaan you're daft.

Blisss, when's the last time you SUPPORTED the scene by attending a show (heck, much less one that you didn't get guestlist for)?

You know you're the only one running around saying you built this fucking scene, ALL THE WHILE ALIENATING the younger generation?

What the fuck, twat?

It's a good thing you BUILT this scene. You didn't have to suffer old jaded twats like yourself bashing on you like you do the younger generation.

Sub-par human being. And pretty standard disk-jockey at best. Open your eyes, the scene you "built" is alive and well without you.

Elitistwankertwat.

Actually I played at Under Pressure just last week, that is an event I did for free and for the scene

I never said I BUILT the scene either, I said I was one of Canada's original ravers, you're one running around saying things I didnt say

I'm just an active dj who's done a lot for the Montreal music scene and continues to do something I enjoy and enjoys making people happy. Thats about it

ONE OF CANADA'S "ORIGINAL" RAVERS!!! YES! Amazing.

Dude, you OPENED big festivals cause you're a bottom feeder, take what you can get. You got booked at UP because they're too lazy to change their fuckin' lineup.
You WE'RE the last link to the breaks scene in Montreal, but guess what buddy? PB and Dialect
have sufficiently filled that void for you. Talk about a bad attitude, EVERYONE fuckin' hates you, not just a handful, everyone. No one respects a bitch like you. A forum wanker who spends his days taunting people because you have a tiny dick that gets 0 use from the opposite sex.

Give up.

I think we are all waiting to care about who was there first, but care prefers to sniff cocaine in the back of the DJ booth with the next batch of promoters that dream of a scene.

What I care about is what's happening and what's happening is that people that once threw above-the-average parties with a lot of local talent that got paid at every gig to make them part of the whole are telling me that it's over because over the years they lose 1000$ here, 5000$ there for the crime of putting their heart and ass into it. I'll always remember that Montreal got the scene where NOERG lost 4000$ for a party with over-the-top visuals that took a chance of bringing Dusty Kid here in 2007 when he was making that music that was so awesome and special. The headliner didn't cost that much, the setup did. It was truly an avant-garde event at the time and NOERG was really throwing quality parties with local DJ's getting paid good money to play. I know that because he booked me twice and paid me more than all the others combined in 2 years. That might've set a trend of professionnalism and quality.

But after a few times losing cash in the thousands like that over the years, well the dude got sick of paying and paying for people to party in nice environment with artists selected for their creative input. That's just one dude that was doing it right, it didn't fail all the time but now apparently he's gone and I saw some fucking greedy, megalomaniac assholes fill up the space quite quick.

Seriously, I know that you're gonna tell me that you put 100 000$ in the bank just by being a DJ and blahblahblah. That, if only you would just prove it, would put you as a Goliath around here because I know only 1 other guy living of his DJ income in this city, it's quite a legendary DJ and he doesn't seem to enjoy money pouring in like you do when you represent the original raver spirit in some obscure club night. Actually, when I started refusing the lame timeslots and crappy gigs I ended up having really more fun being a DJ and also having to forget about living out of it.

So, in short, no one makes mad money but you. How do you explain that,
and please do not use the words:

- "hard work" (because some others work hard too),

- "dedication" (I've got a lot of that and so do several DJs and artists in Montreal).

- Do not tell the Original Raver Dude story

- Do not tell us that it's the breaks or the funk. As far as I know, Planet Break did not slow down the pace because they made so many millions that they didn't care for music anymore. And do not give a pathetic and confusing point-by-point answer like you did a few posts up. Leave those for Homer Simpson. :) :) :) :)

I would say that if you make money by being a DJ, it's because you're good. But I would say that if you really made 100 000$ by playing club nights and obscure events, they must be organized by supernatural promoters sent just to pave your way for glory because I'm not even sure that if you take bal en blanc, eclipse, piknik and the black and blue, I'm not even sure 100 000$ was spent on DJ's in Montreal since you came to us with the spirit of PLUR as the original raver.
I'm feeling your mother right now..

Blahblahblah. For a brief moment I forgot how you like to play semantics.

There was a scene in Montreal as far back as 1992, I was actually one of Canada's original ravers
and attended most the first raves in Montreal.

It started going downhill in the mid nineties when the drugs and the criminal eleemnt took over but from 92 to 95 it was amazing. There were still some good rave organizations like Channel Productions for whom I did promo, we brought many electronic artists for the first time in Montreal, acts like Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers (twice), Hardfloor, Carl Craig, etc...I was even involved in the promo for the first ever Ninja tune party at Playground (didnt play that one though)

And yeah I've been active in playing and promoting electronic music in Montreal since 1995, still play out every week, and still going strong :)

You're a friggin disk-jockey playing weekly at Chez Roger and biweekly at L'Assommoir. And you may be overpaid for what you do, IMHO. I know tons of good DJs, ALL OF THEM WITH BETTER DEMEANOR, who could rock a dancefloor at least as good as you COULD.

I still stand by what I say. You come off as an elitistwankertwat in it for the money (and girls and drugs and guestlists, as per a previous post of yours). But why you persist in insulting the younger community (basically anyone else) is still beyond me. Talk about trying to make people happy.

GET. OVER. YOURSELF.

Lol...as if my musical range is limited to playing breaks and the breaks scene is just Planet Break and Dialect which are good friends of mine...Lol...you know nothing bro, I get along with everyone and still play breaks all the time to people who enjoy and respect what I do

And yes Bonus Beats I've been djing and holding down residencies for the past 17 years and earning money from those gigs, sometimes a lot of money, so please dont' bother me with your theories about how I ended up with 100 grand in my bank, you dont know me and you certainly have no idea of much money you can actually make as a dj.

I swear its like you guys are mad that an honest hardworking dj who SAVES his cash is still going, has residencies and enjoys what he does

yeah yeah, let me guess you're thinking of some local dnb dj who'll show up and get kicked off in 10 minutes for having no musical range or experience

for the record every place I play at they hire me on the spot because I am professional, have the experience and have the musical diverisity and knowledge to pull it off

And for the record BOTH of you guys have terrible reputations on the internet AND in real life for being drama magnets.

Personally I much prefer to associate with the more positive people in the scene

I grew up with Noah douche bag. You couldn't even name one person that makes "fun" of me in MY scene. Well known "cats" as you put it probably wouldn't have a problem with you stating what was said since they're so "above" everyone else, like you right? Also, you can't steal a name if it's not even the same name twat nothing to do with each other.

Your allegations don't and will never stick, because you're clearly the center of the shitiverse.
Anything that revolves around you is shit, or has touched shit and is now a stinky piece of shit. Like when Pinky told everyone you shit your pants and don't wash.

faggot ;)

Yes, because a number of friends who posted along with me got fed up of getting insulted by you and moved on.

Why, I'll admit it: you're certainly one of the main reasons why I still post here. To try and shove a bit of humility down your throat.

It's a losing battle, I know.

people like CJBsexx ARE the scene twat. And guess what, you insulted him too. I'm shaking hands and making up for being a dick on the net. You're still going. That's the difference.

Actually to me he's just some dude who showed up and called me a fag for no reason.

Never heard of him and he's not relevant to anything I have done or will do in the future aside from being a guy who insults people for no reason.

This aint the Nova Scotia Homo Psy Trance scene last time I checked.

I dont really care who your family is, so far I've only seen you play dnb 5 times of year for cab fare the last 10 years

Considering YOU instigated this last round of drama and that most of your "friends" are also friends of mine, I dont think you really have much to go on. How about apologizing for your mistake and paying that bet you lost instead of digging the hole deeper

I'd be more worried about your reputation then mine.

He also proudly advertized that he was on this year's UP lineup, along with 20+ other fine artists.

[ www.djbliss.net. ] There. Some more mad promo for the resident raver-hater.

... I mean Canada's Original Superavertwat.
