Well actually.
There was no way to confirm the exactitude of my following story, but the doctor did tell me that was probably what hapenned. Back in 2004, I went thru a major operation over the course of witch I was given quite a few transfusions. After the operation, I was not getting back to speed as fast as they expected, so they went thru a few blood tests (At this point, I was shitting solid bricks of fear.) Turns out they scan and test blood for serious ailments that cannot be healed, such as strep, HIV, Hepatitis and such, but some less dangerous things are not really tested against. So Yeah, I ended up with a systemic Mono. Took me over 3 months to get over it. They do test blood, but not for everything. Mind you, I'm not bitter about it, I mean, I did get quality health care, for free and after all I'm all good now. | |
