i heard they were so i'm just gonna start from the top, i just woke up so its still fresh -

alright so i'm at mcdonalds with my bud corey n we're trying to get mcdonalds in a drive through on a scooter - for some reason corey has a bag of milk and the holder thing, these people ahead of us are being complete douchest for whatever reason i cant remember, it kinda jump[s forward abit ( a little fuzzy) corey throws the milk bag at their car and the car starts melting, we drive over the melting car and get our mcdonalds only to realize we lost the milk holder, so we spend what feels like an eternity looking for this thing we finally find it, i dont know why but it was very important we find it. then we start driving down the road, my dream jumps again its all fuzzy but we end up at this cottage type place.

we go inside its decorated exactly like a pub even the windows have those wooden crossed x thingies on em, i go outside for a smoke with my other bud tribs, corey still has that milk thing in his hand i remember outside there was a flood and it looked like we were at a harbor ( minus the cottage pub thing) its fuzzy we end up going back inside, its a huge pub rave thing and chef ramsey is there in his chef coat n everything partying it up, the waves at this point start going nuts and hitting our door n shit so litteraly ramsey walks outside and yells at the waves to stop, and the waves stop,
the rest of the dream becomes a weird blurr i remember tribs n my other friends on going in a car boat to leave the pub for mcdonalds, i saw lita with a tarp for some reason and there was alot more too it but i can't remember, but yeah that was my fuckin dream

i just remembered a little more, at one point we were all in the desert and we had to fight tyler and noah too they were enemies for some reason but it was like lord of the rings, i really dont remember much about that part but nothing made sense at that point

what the hell does that mean ? any of u guys have a dream like that ?

oh yeah, n there was another short one i remember i had a long ass time ago, i was sailing in calm seas when all of a sudden the waves got massive and we were fighting for our lives, we looked up n it was a giant toilet flushing.

hope this whole post made sense that was too much typing for me n i just woke up, imma go make an omelette o justice
I'm feeling psychedelica!!!!!!!!! right now..

To see or ride a scooter in your dream, suggests that you are enjoying your position of power

To see milk in your dream, symbolizes maternal instincts and motherly love. It also denotes human kindness, wholesomeness, and compassion. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that someone is "milking" you, either emotionally or financially. If you spill milk in your dream, symbolizes a loss of faith, opportunity, and trust.

To dream that you are throwing something, indicates that there is someone or something that you need to rid yourself of from your life. Consider the object that you are throwing.

To dream that you are searching for something, signifies the need to find something that is missing or needed in your life.

To dream that you are driving a vehicle, signifies your life's journey and your path in life. The dream is telling of how you are moving and navigating through life. Metaphorically, driving a car in your dream, is analogous to your sex life and sexual performance. Consider how you are driving and what kind of car you are driving and how it relates to your waking sex life. Or the dream may be a pun on your "drive" or ambition.

To see a cottage in your dream, represents comfort, peace and serenity. You prefer a quiet life of simplicity. The cottage may also represent an altered sense of reality and thus may be a means of escaping the responsibilities and problems that may be associated with your home.

To dream that you are at a party, suggests that you need to get out more and enjoy yourself.

To see a chef in your dream, represents transformation and changes. Consider what is "cooking" in your life?

To see muddy, violent waves in your dream, indicate a fatal error in an important decision.

To dream that you are in or see a boat, signifies your ability to cope with and express your emotions. Pay particular attention to the condition and state of the waters, whether it is calm or violent, clear or murky, etc.

Symbols have different meaning for each person. Don't buy into the bullshit.

A talking dog to you will most likely mean something extremely different than it does to me. The same way EVERYTHING feels differently for different people in real life.

I'll give you a fine example:

I hate cottages. Find them boring, annoying, would live without them. Dreaming about being in a cottage in a dream would mean something I don't like or a situation I wish to avoid. It wouldn't mean "comfort, peave and serenity".

The "talking dog" thing I mentioned is due to the fact that when I need to sit down and think back about important parts of my life, I dream of talking animals, mostly dogs. This is due to my native heritage more than anything and the idea that animals are wise. It's a brain connection that I don't really believe in real life but understand when I dream of it. To you, it might mean that you're going mad.

See? Different interpretations. Brains aren't perfect duplicates and it's stupid to think that you can simply pick a list of keywords and get a glossary of meanings that will be the same for everyone...

lol, duh.
i still find it interesting. :)
of course you make your own interpretation. i'm weirder than normal too... but this is like a guideline, it helps to sort out the information and gives great cultural references to archetypes commonly seen.

Yes, Yoshin, "duh" me after you've linked and pasted bullshit in this thread...

:D

It IS interesting but sadly, only you can interpret your dreams, or a shrink who'll ask you the right questions to help you do so.

why sadly?
i find it happy that only me can get the cryptic message in my dreams. most of the time it's way too fucked up and linked to a certain secret garden that i prefer to be kept secret.

the excitement i get when i wake up from a meaningful dream can never be communicated to another person because they don't understand how it is in my inner cosmology, or something like that.

but, yes, archetypes. like the milk being linked to mother energy... of course it is... culturally, in every culture it is.. but i didn't think of it before i read the text thing.

my favourite thing is still when i wake up laughing :D

I can't drink milk. I don't drink milk. Milk to me means sickness, not mother energy. There ARE no archetypes.

"Mother" also isn't something I see positively. It all depends on the person.

And yes, "sadly", because I enjoy deciphering things :D
Update » DCRn wrote on Thu Mar 31, 2011 @ 3:31pm
Define and explain "inner cosmology", please. I have no fucking clue what you mean :S

milk to you means sickness, but probably ALSO mother. because milk comes from mother. whether it's a cow, a goat, or a human, it still comes from a mother.

and then sickness, milk, and mother are linked.
i don't want to analyze you though, because it belongs to you ;)
but i don't change my mind on universal archetypes. when the whole society accepts something as inherent, you're stuck with it, it is part of you. even if you resist it, it still gets engraved within, because you place yourself in reaction to it.
Update » AYkiN0XiA wrote on Thu Mar 31, 2011 @ 3:36pm
lol inner cosmology is like.... fuck. how can i explain this. the way i see things. my own spirituality, or my relation to life, something along those lines...

Well yes, in this case, poison (sickness) and mother WOULD be linked, haha.

I get what you mean about inner cosmology but what does it have to do with the actual word? I'm imagining a small universe in your ribcage right now.

This means you're hungry and also has a connection with the spiritual tree-omega3-father energy.

lol nice image :) somehow i see it more in my head... hmm

Cosmology (from Greek κοσμολογία - κόσμος, kosmos, "universe"; and -λογία, -logia, "study"), in strict usage, refers to the study of the Universe in its totality as it is now (or at least as it can be observed now), and by extension, humanity's place in it. (...) the study of the universe has a long history involving science, philosophy, esotericism, and religion.

my place in the universe is an interpretation. my relationship to this universe depends on the interpretation that i make out of it. it also touches the points of origins. and sex of all things. mother, father, where we come from, the point of life, what we become... love... macrocosm, microcosm...

i could have also used the word cosmogony i guess. but whatever. this is getting pretty metaphysical and i need to get off the internet and shop for the overlock sewing machine that i dream of now :P

niji, here's what dreammoods interprets;

To see animals in your dream, represent your own physical characteristic, primitive desires, and sexual nature, depending on the qualities of the particular animal. Animals symbolize the untamed and uncivilized aspects of yourself.

so, yeah, stomping this.

The animal I actually stomped, accidentally, was a goldfish. Well, two goldfish.
The other animal was walked on rather than stomped (not hurt), by my mom. It was a cat.

According to some sites, fish symbolize the catholic religion. According to other sites... other things.
I'm feeling giddy right now..

very true. it's absolutely ludicrous to tell someone that a person place or thing has a universal symbolic meaning. the meaning is going to be unique to that individual. or sometimes it could even meaningless.. a random image produced by some synaptic glitch. So I always find these new-age dream interpretation guides pretty corny.
