Really hard to say which one i like the most. I'd say "People can fly" and "Ambient Galaxy". the first time i've EVER heard psychedelic trance was an "1996 Trust In Trance" album! FUCK MY BRAIN!i was so absorved! i didn't even know what the hell is trance,goa etc..didn't know this music exist!(i came from tiny little town actually:)was damn hard to get a tape cassete 11years ago:)lol As for me personally I love Dancing Galaxy a lot. (album) The most oustanding album ever. Pretty much all of those tracks are kinda masterpiece. I dare to say they are grandfuthers of psytrance:) ho hoo really can't beleive this stuff came out in 1997 just beautiful, that's it |

I'll agree that I'll often go put aside a tune if it's to much of headache to mix especially in a less than perfect mixing environment... but son, if adjusting gains is making you sweat, you need to exercise more! if you're to much of a pussy to do it on the spot and ear it out while both tunes are playing, than stop flailing your arms for a second while your 7 minute tune is playing and switch the pfl (or cue, or whatever you wanna call if) from one channel to another and adjust the gain till you have a similar perceivable volume... it's not like you've got anything else to do while mixing psy considering the fact that it's highly frowned upon for djs to do anything but mix an outro with an intro |

| Coolness: 509635 | chill winston... mixing a track with a variable bpm or uneven BARS can be a pain in the ass, i.e. make one sweat...
the gain issue for me generally means that one of the tracks just wasn't made proper to begin with and so I generally won't play it... I'll play a tune that is steady on the bpm, has a structure I can mix properly with and if well produced and mastered as often as I can. I'm talking preference not rule tho... Also, those 5 minutes between tracks are necessary for rolling joints!! but other than checking to see if the beatzmatch and doing a brief sound check, there's not much else to do... is there? make sure the track isn't skipping? (but I never have that problem cause I always burn cds custom before every gig) |

Might also mean that the mastering engineer sacrificed loudness for dynamics... When I master my shit, I honestly couldn't care less how much I have to crank the gain as long as the mixdown is clean... also I'm not going to try and match gain levels with stuff that was mastered on gear worth in the tens or hundreds of thousands by someone who spent the last 20 years mastering. |

juste pour la culture general,il y a enormement d'anecdote a leur sujet en israel,dans les annees 90.faut d"abord savoir qu"a l"origine ils etaient trois ! et ce troisieme membre a fini par basculer dans l"obscurantisme religieux juif (occultisme kabbalistique ce genre de delire) et a abandonne la musique.mais c"est meme pas tout.astral projection est devenu l"embleme de la musique goa trance en israel a cause d"un proces tres mediatise. en fait,a une certaine epoque la psytrance etait tres mal vu par l"eshtablishment en israel.les jeunes se droguaient et experimentaient des etat mystique de paien considere comme blasphematoire par l"autorite juive.mais plus grave encore,il refusaient de faire leur service militaire et a attaquer les civils palestiniens parce que cette musique les pacifiaient.la societe conservatrice juive a du repondre a ca.il y a une referendum pour faire interdire completement la psytrance en israel (c"est la verite,rien de plus hallucinant) mais les defendeurs des liberte individuel se sont lever contre cette abberration,et cette loi a du etre annule.alors on a pense a faire un proces un projet de goa trance qui ait de l"influence pour : incitation a la drogue et a la debauche histoire de faire peur au label et aux dj.c"est juste trop comique. et devinez qui est passe a la barre argumenter contre ca ...astral projection ! donc juste pour dire que ce projet a vraiment de l"histoire.et c"est dommage de ne trop les avoir dans les dancefloor a montreal,leur univers est tres beau et leur technique a la pointe.merci mike ! serieusment. sinon pour repondre au topic ..mon track prefere est sans doute kaballah.c"est vraiment la sensation pure de la goa oldschool.sinon let there be light a un cote dramatique que j<apprecie.enlightened evolution est festif.mahadeva est un de leur classique et d"ailleur c"est celui qui les a fait connaitre.free tibet est aussi tres bien ,il ya des voix la dessus qui ont ete travaille pour mettre un dynamisme vraiment psyche...sinon ionized...people can fly (avec un sample vriament tres beau du film kalifornia) soundform,dancing galaxy,in-novation (ce track est tres beau meme si je pense pas qu"il soit adapte au dancefloor,il est tres leger),zero (fait avec deedrah) et open society (tres full-on et vraiment energique) voila ca fait quand meme beaucoup de track j<espere qu"il t"aideront a concevoir un live genial mike. peace. |
