So me and a friend are hitting up TO this weekend and was wondering if any of y'all had some recommendations on where to go/what to do? Fav watering holes and restaurants will be appreciated. We're staying on King St W (just as a point of reference) Thanks! :) |

The best (and only good?) things I did while in Toronto (in about a week) were: - wandering in Kensington market on a sunny day and ending up having Devil's Pale Ale at Ronnie's Local (a nice pub at "069 Nassau" [ www.blogto.com ] ) - wandering in Kensington market and getting plenty of dirty cheap vinyls from a small record store (they even had the first Slayer on picture disc for $120!!) - having genuine cask ale in a restaurant/bar (sorry, I have no idea where it was anymore) - going back to Montreal |

 Coolness: 43630 | Kensington market is cool. There's the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant I've ever eaten at, the pie was insaaaane! Just a warning, it's not cheap but it's worth it to go just for the desert itself :D There was good Indian food around there too, and some nice coffee shops and bakeries. Sorry I can't remember any names..
I think the Harvest Festival ppl throw some nice parties too, I don't know how often they are but look them up. |
