Seriously? I mean that shit tastes like instant coffee, it's bad. I'm a big coffee fan, in fact if there is one thing I am addicted to and would never want to let go, it's coffee. I don't spend much on coffee from any of those chains, I buy italian espresso and brew it in my bodum at work, tastes great and it costs me 4 bucks for a pack. (about 25 cents a cup lol) |

Coffee is delicious, and TH fail in that field Apparently coffee here compare to Europe is awful. Coffee shouldn't make clean bubble on the top, like what you get at TH. This is mostly a sign that there more than half water in the mix. Coffee is meant to be smooth talking about coffee... *leaves to get one* |

Starbucks and Second Cup I think are meh.. overpriced and funny tasting.. but actually - as an experiment, I've cut myself off my life-long caffeine habit.. I had a cup of tea for the first time in a month last night and I felt mad jittery. before that I was drinking about 4-6 cups of tea or coffee a day.. and at least one cup of tea a day since I was around 6 years old. in our family it's a big daily tradition, so it was a tough habit to kick. my beef with Tim Hortons is the crappy cafeteria-like service I've had.. when I'd be pulling all-nighters cramming for exams.. all the outlets for laptops were taken at the university coffee shop, so the only 24-hour coffee shop where you could drink shiitloads of coffee and study is the Tim Hortons next door to campus. but they refused to let any students plug in their laptops there. seeing as how much of their business is from the university students and faculty, and seeing how crucial exam times are, I thought that was very cheap and unfriendly of them. |
