but what the hell does it say? Surdari? Sundari? Surpapi? SudRapi? ** Even so I see too many graphic designers create 'cool' fonts that are totally illegible... to me that defeats the purpose entirely. There needs to be a healthy trade-off between practicality and creativity and so in my mind the flyer should be nice to look at and the text easy to read without being ugly. Like I always stroke my fonts white because like that they glow under blacklight, it's not the coolest effect but it's damn functional... I feel your desire for a ground breaking new totally awesome font that makes people question the meaning of life and the universe but... yeah that won't come for free and free is all I'm willing to pay :) I appreciate the comments though and will hence look in other pre-made fonts in hopes of finding something less offensive :) |

I said sketch out ideas... you wanna use a font from dafont, fine! shitloads of designers have done mad shit with hevetica... but using a font from dafont, with the same size on all letters with the original spacing, on a straight line looks very generic! |

i myself am leaning towards the first of my new options since the flower thingy is prety and looks good unhidden... maybe ill try diff colors tho... as for 3D text... it would be cool, but only if the font came in 3d... photoshop 3D effects AFAIK are pretty cheeez |

- this isn't the first flyer you've made. Theoretically, you should start to get the knack to do them by now. - it's your party and your flyer. You shouldn't ask for approbation from people. It'll be what it'll be and that's that. - if you're a programmer and not a graphics designer, how about finding one ? I'm sure you have tons of better skilled peeps to do it for you for a small or no fee... without resorting to the same Google Images searches and [ Dafont.com ] over and over again. If your party's supposed to be original, your flyer should reflect that. All I'm seeing is the same formula over and over and over again. My 2¢ |

Psy peopleare known for insane party decos yet rarely come up with imaginative party names. I mean, do you absolutely have to name it "psy-something" ? Unless you're severely retarded, one look at the flyer kinda tells you it ain't a hardcore party.
Not only that but the name "Psychedelica Strikes Again" implies you did the first Psychedelica party which is misleading. |

My 2¢ flyer is formulaic like the party and any fee is a big fee when parties break even by the skin of their teeth... you know people say they'll do it for guestlist but expect to bring their 2-3 closest friends... and heck they'd deserve more but 4 peeps getting in free is 80$, not to mention that the graphic designer often feels way underpaid, creating a bad vibe of sorts... been there, don't want to do it again :\ I appreciate your comments tho! and oh it wouldn't be misleading since I did do the first TWO parties of that name... :) |

though anything related to psy that starts with psy may lack originality... i still think it's an awesome name because of it's simplicity... and it's straight to the point. adding strikes again would be kind of fail :P psychedelica is psychedelic, that's it. no aliens, no star wars, no hindu, no whatever. just psy. bring it on :) |
