The operating frequency range of 28 Hz to 150 Hz complements other Meyer Sound loudspeakers and line and curvilinear arrays in sound reinforcement applications requiring maximum headroom at the low end of the frequency spectrum.
They might be a little overkill for our venues but in the future who knows! Hopefully we can have some outdoor events using them in the future! |

| If they fell on someone they would be squished and killed fairly instantly... They are insanely heavy, more heavy then the Behemoth TX9S... Then again I'm sure people who are hanging these things know what they are doing and use lots of metal but I'm not going to hang them that is for sure.
Here you have 40 of them for Metallica's show with some other speakers... Anyways they create some serious bass but I'm not sure I would want to be standing right in front of them. Then again I'd never have them pumping at full volume or anywhere close to it. We must protect our ears but still enjoy full bass just not insanely loud, just loud!

| Just a little overkill for our small rave venues...
This club uses 1 of them... "hefty punch of a 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofer tucked away under the DJ booth".
This bar venue uses 2 of them... "along with two 700-HP subwoofers".
And Krems's G-Club has 3... "Visceral bass pumps out of three 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofers".
I also think Aria here in Montreal probably used them... Not sure... Also Newtown uses 4 half powered 650-HP subwoofers... Cirque Du Soleil uses the 700-HP also! |
