That place is dangerous as hell, the concrete all around absorbs any noise from the train, and passenger trains are also faster and less noisy.

Combine that with music and alcohol, and you have 3 young dead people.

I never graffed there as I deemed the spot too visible from highway patrols and dangerous due to high traffic.

super sad this happened, but I hope its taken as a warning of just how careful people should be on those tracks, or any train tracks.

they were not under the influence nor were they listening to music... they had their backs to the train traveling 110km/h (which was off route ANYWAYS) and couldn't hear it approaching because of traffic in the turcot yards and the winter weather conditions... so don't assume any facts you don't know because you may actually hurt the people who were close to these boys.
losing friends is not a laughing (or "trolling") matter... these people had lives ahead of them and parents who are devastated.
think before you blab about such a touchy subject.

..and also acording to some friends they were in the little tunnel that has room for 1 train and no 'mid-way' exits, only the two ends, so even if they'd have heard it coming they'd have had nowhere to go.
I'm feeling like a drama magnet right now..

The passenger train wasn't even schedule to be traveling at that time. Unfortunate circumstances.

Normally, no train should have been travelling on those tracks in the middle of the night. The Montreal-bound train that struck the youths had left Toronto on Saturday night; it was delayed three hours because of a separate fatality involving a Go Transit passenger train near Toronto, Via Rail said.

There's a ditch on each side of the tracks. You walk in the ditch and you don't get hurt. There are window spaces too high to reach so you can't get "out" of the tunnel but you can move out of the way of the train. There was alcohol involved but it's not my place to judge obviously. I was usually very high when I went down there myself. I'm also assuming not many of you have been down there so you're trying to paint a picture of what happened. Trains go fast, tracks aren't meant to be walked on even if trains aren't scheduled to arrive or pass through the area. It's a fluke that cost them their lives and it's devastating when it happens. It's hard to think I was going down there and my life could have been taken instead. It's a mistake no one should have to make but it still happens and when it does they leave behind a slew of unanswered questions. Nothing but respect for those guys and I hope their families find peace of mind.

RIP

Really sad. Nobody should mess around on train tracks. It's not worth it.

Thanks Olivia, I guess it turns out I was right.

So to Host and the rest (Strik, Moloch and Le Chat), maybe you should think twice before you spread rumours, lob insults or tell people to shut up for no reason O_o

You clearly have no idea of what happened

Alcohol was found on the site and in their cars you fuckknob. We all have a connection to what happened yet, you still have no fucking reason for typing here. You we're right? LOL You've never been out of the plateau let alone in the Turcot yards. So again, once you've managed to stop embarassing yourself at gigs, on this forum and pretty much when you breathe, then we'll start taking you seriously. Until then we still don't give a fuck about you. Only Mitch, Riccardo and Dylan matter at this point and it ends there.

Thanks for playing.

Host, here's an idea:

Why don't you do us all a favor and go back to the suburbs and reflect on your life as a failed dj and graffiti artist & quit SPREADING LIES and SLANDER about those poor kids who got killed.

Until then don't count on any of us to take you seriously on here, you're a fucking joke my friend.

Nothing. So stfu, stop typing here and suck my fat polish prick. You know nothing about Graffiti or train yards period. No slander has been issued until you got here, we're slandering YOU troll. Now back to your tree stump and we'll see you when the next Ernest movie comes out you wack ass nutbar.

Whatever, blisss has no clue how it goes, probably never touched a can in his life and keeps on bashing on people who've lived it...

Only person slandered in this thread is blisss... the victims were not judged, it's sad for sure, but it is part of the risks writers take to express their art in it's rawest form. A part of the thrill that comes when writing is the danger involved, dogs, trains, armed rent-a-cops, etc.

Now I havent written in a loooooong while, but at the time we wore dark clothes, had music pounding on our walkmans (shockwave rawwwr) and more often than not IT involved quite a bit of THC. Not everyone does it that way but quite a few do.

The train was not scheduled to pass, this could have happened to anyone graffing there that night. It's just crappy coincidence.

And for fuck's sake blisss, quit obsessing, for the passed 2-3 years whenever I, Moloch, Host, Screwhead, Masa and a few others I forget post on the board, your wires cross and you decide to paint us evil be it by modifying quotes or deforming what we write by putting small extracts out of context. And you never miss an occasion to put us all together in one bunch just for the fun of it.

In this case you are going WAY over the line...
