Wanted: Record Bag /trolley Whatever

 Coolness: 86505 | hi - my ugly old heavy flight case finally broke.. the little metal latch snapped clean off. good riddance. I hated it.
so this time around I want something that is actually practical - something with pockets and lots of room and wheels and a handle - something like this would be ideal - to have enuff room for a god amount of records as well as pockets for headphones, needles, CDs etc.. but the wheels and handle are key cuz carrying records from city to city is a bitch 
obviously I know I could shop for one brand new, but I need to save money for other things right now so if I could get it second-hand (and hopefully cheap =) that is better I will be in Montreal for a gig Tuesday. I might find one sooner from one of my crew here in Hamilton or Toronto but I thought I'd ask here too and see if anyone has one they'd like to sell let me know! =) |

i seen many bags , not limited to dj bag. even expensive samsonite stuff break off (wheels) when they are too heavy, and a ~5-6-7 inch thick 12" of wax is pretty heavy, thoses lil wheerls arent made for nothing than metro slick concrete (imo) they wouldnt resit our montreal destroyed by sodium ribbed roads. imo in just saying , its not a skateboard /rollers i made my own flight case out of repairmain mallet. they are freaking heavy. but i carry them , part of my exerciste of being / keeping in shape. how odd would you look in france running away from a prefait/cop bust by rolling it down a weed field. it might be camo but the idea sounds a lil ... odd i get that you want to not strain your back i get it . the bag i like it myself too , just havent you ever see ppl near the marriot downtown or concordia , with their backpack on wheels , skeeetching their way down because a wheel with no bearings finnaly broke on them after like a seesion of dailly strenous usage ? i seen it , and they act like nobody knows , but its pretty obvious. maybe if you change it to rollerblade wheel , but having myself look into the concept a lot of time before , can says the compagny that make good wheel support is as rare as a strap that doesnt rips off after a year. kinda of a concept flaw (intentionnaly made during concept) but cheers buddy im just warning you too look at these two parts so your investment is worthy and hope you do , cause i have never found a wheel concept thats cash / time = worthy Update » cutterhead wrote on Mon May 17, 2010 @ 5:00am straps on my case never broke off, and i have walk from down town to repentigny several times ,
i can see ppl not being able NOT to get hurt by them thou, its a small 1.5 cm really weaved synthecic phyber, like safety carbelt material. got a tiny blister on a shoulder once , but i trained gradually with them. so to get there. i could walk 60 km rite now and have my arms still atached with both. |
