| Coolness: 28675 | subway all the way. depending on what part of town. cabs get fuckin expensive when your stuck in gridlock traffic. and theres always stupid marathons and shit so main roads get closed down.

street cars, buses, metros its so much. i've been a spolied brat and toke cabs, but lordy they cost more, they have day passes. it costs a bit more then here. |

| Coolness: 28675 | if you stay downtown then you can walk almost anywhere from a subway station. if you know where you wanna go and what you wanna see then map it out on the ttc website. but take cabs at night if your bar hopping. and familiarize yourself with the streets or the fuckin cab drivers will take you for a nice joy ride first. all main streets run either north/south or east/west. |

It is now $3..uuugh. The day passes are good if you come on a weekend...$10 per day will give you unlimited travel for 2 adults. Less than 1 round trip per person so if you plan on going around the city it works out pretty cheap. Like my worse half said above, if you need tips or info on how to get from one place to another just message one of us. I take transit everywhere in this city so I can definitely be of assistance if needed :) |

Roach-a-rama =) that was what the Hotbox Cafe was originally called when it first opened up on Nassau years ago. right across from Ronnie's Abi Roach got me to set up my turntables out front of the shop on opening day... me, General Eclectic, and Abi DJed reggae, funk and oldskool jungle.. that was one of the first times I ever played in front of people. haha and my friends Ben & Tomasz did a live ambient/techno PA. they didnt have a stage name, so they called themselves "Soup & Sandwich" - lol I totally forgot about that until now. that afternoon was soooo much fun. damn i miss living in the Market! honestly, when Roach-a-rama opened I didn't think it's odds of surivival were very good.. it was just a little hole-in-the-wall selling bong and papers and other stoner-related goodies now it's relocated - and expanded into this crazy famous cafe where people can smoke up .. amazing! not really my cup of tea, cuz I don't smoke weed, but I think it's great that her spot blew up like that. I remember Woody Harrelson was interviewed there years ago =) |
