if you had an ice cream store, in order to convince someone that your ice cream is amazing, would you talk about your ice cream to him for hours or simply give him a taste?
I'm feeling the president right now..

QFT!

And if a store across the street was giving away free ice cream, but only in plain paper cups, well it's time to offer waffle cones with chocolate or sprinkles on them, or other stuff that they can't get with the free ice-cream... or just a better quality ice-cream..
I'm feeling like a drama magnet right now..

It's a known fact that ice cream makers give away their ice cream for free to create hype, in the hope that ice cream fans will buy tickets to come and see them make it live.

i advice to read the classic book: " This Business of Music".. it's a big book but it contains absolutely all info about this subject.

also take a quick look at marketing books.. there is 1 that i found interesting..

remember that now after the production era, the sale era, the marketing era.. we are now in the relationship era..

tipsy is right and illustrate well this basic concept with his ice cream story...
I'm feeling hitched right now..
