i actually didn't get to goto that show cause i was working at Saphirs that night, but then Seb(RM) managed to get him to do a little show at Saphs, so before people started arriving, i chatted it up with him and then ran outside stole a poster and got him to sign it, cause, i'm a loser like that |

Azazel
Quarashi is icelandic hiphop right? my track of the day sixtoo - outremont mainline runs across the sunset a Halifax native now living in montreal i've stood next to him 3 times and i still can't get myself to talk to him like what the hell do i say? "can you sign this record?" jiggy heads think his rapping is wack but to me sixtoo's lyricism/scratching/production/cadence is really conforting "you see variety isn't the spice of life it just distract you long enough to keep you thinking, kill the statue find comfort in the same kind of situation same kind of locations same kind of conversations stone faces, dreary eyes and the tired heart it's easier to write off the world each time that we start love doesn't tear us apart it's the little things the time between kisses that affects the way that phone rings off the hook the dial resonates with sarcasm little ripples turn to waves of heart spasms we can drown in a well overflowing with hot air we learn to keep it inside or else we learn not to care..." |

next time you stand in his presence, just talk to him dude, tell him you think his shit is mad smelly, tell him he's upright on the tight rope.
just tell him straight up that he's pretty damn good, and talk from there |
