The future belongs to those who act quickly…
The first tickets for the 16th Bal en Blanc
on exceptional presale beginning Saturday, December 12

Montreal, December 8, 2009 – With winter just starting to make itself felt, it’s already time to plan starting spring off with a bang. Essential ingredients for an excess of springtime energy, tickets for the 16th edition of Bal en Blanc will be offered on early bird presale as of Saturday, December 12 at noon.

This is a unique opportunity for reserving a place at the best price and above all for making sure you don’t miss the great annual celebration, enlivened in the most skilful way possible by the best-known DJs and artists on the planet. The flagship event of Montreal’s White Party Week, which is taking place from April 1 to 5, 2010, Bal en Blanc will be held in its usual setting of Palais des Congrès (Montreal Convention Centre) the night of Sunday, April 4.

The first 500 tickets will be offered at the special price of $80 (taxes included + various fees) on the Web at [ billetsplayground.com ] [ balenblanc.com ] and by telephone at (1.888.418.PROD) from Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., as well as at certain specialty points of sale (see the list at the bottom of the page). The very much in-demand VIP tickets will also go on sale at the same time, at a price of $40 (taxes included + service charges). VIP tickets must be combined with a regular ticket for admission to the event; they provide access to a VIP checkroom, to a VIP section with complimentary fruits and snacks, and entitle the holder to priority admission.

Once again, over 15,000 people are expected at Bal en Blanc, where two rooms will be devoted respectively to House and Tech/Trance rhythms. The lineup, almost completed, is expected to be as solid as it gets, with a number of the greatest names in electronic dance music on hand for the proceedings, not to mention some new figures whose stars are on the rise. But hurry: in light of the ever-growing popularity of the event, tickets for the 16th edition of Bal en Blanc risk disappearing very fast.

Details of ticket sales for Bal en Blanc 2010
First 500 tickets @ $80 + $4 (police service fee) + box-office fee ($10.64 – Web and tel.; $2 – points of sale) + service charges - (taxes incl.)*

And what exactly do you mean by being "gay" ?

Guess that in your tiny brain your allusion isn't hurtful to the homosexual community?

This planet belongs to everyone batz--could be time to grow up and emancipate your horizons, and also, you are vulgar and very lame by writing comments of the sort.

The presale begins on December 12th. Bal en Blanc has featured top international talents for the past 15 years and this year's edition will be amazing !

I've been to Bal En Blanc 3 times and it's always been fun. Some people like the large parties. I can honestly say I wasn't paying much attention to who was playing at any time during the nights I went. The again this goes for most parties I goto. The music is background noise to the socializing or dancing I'm doing. I never really get excited to hear anyone play, but I like when people play good stuff... That's just really me. There is something very different about going to a party with 10,000+ people then a party with 300 people.

More then anything it's the "box-office fee" which is getting ridiculous. That is not the fault of the promoter though. How can admission or ticket master or whatever company you get tickets from charge 15$+ to offer a ticket online. It should be cheaper to offer tickets online to people and yet they raise the price from 2$ to 15$ to buy online. I don't understand that!
I'm feeling nuclear right now..

Also one thing I like about the larger parties is they do stage shows. Smaller events don't have those. It's always cool to hear a DJ play with let's say someone playing an Electric Guitar over the music. People should do that more often as it's really cool...

You guys should stop bashing everything that people post up. Just because you don't like something does not mean it sucks. Bal En Blanc is obviously better to a lot more people then the parties we do. They both have their strong points. But dissing something just cause you're not going to be there is useless. As I mentioned, everyone I know who has been to a Bal En Blanc has enjoyed it and thought it was worth the money.

fuck it's expensive, but i'd still like to go one time to see how it's like. And yeah, what's the line-up ? lol

And how come it's on a sunday? Wtf?

So i understand the the '' early presale '' is 80$ ? Is there anyone to i can directly buy a ticket to avoid the 20$ service fee from the middle men who deals tickets?

If i go there dressed in black from head to toes, will they let me in?
I'm feeling like a superhero right now..

Laurent: It's Easter week-end, meaning the Monday after is a Holiday.

And come on peeps, let's not dabble on the line-up. We all know Bal en Blanc's rep, it's gonna include some big ass headliners. Like a combination of 4-5 of Mixmax's top 100 DJ. From the top of the list, even.

We all know the regular posters around here tend to prefer smaller parties. I've been to an event of this magnitude myself, and it's just not my thang. But we COULD act civilized, and just leave this thread for the hypes and big ups of people actually going :)

... We all know it'll most likely disappear to page 2 of this section pretty quickly :p
I'm feeling fiendish right now..

hahaha mcs. Ya live instrumentation rocks at parties. Gives it a lil more organic and raw feel.
and mike you bashing infected mushroom ? this coming from the guy years ago was excited to play on the same lineup as them? remeber 2007?
You just sounding like hater to them being successful.
And everyones sound grows and develops and changes.

The added on fees though are I believe going to lower ticket sales slightly or increase ticket sales slighty at the retail outlets
