i can't believe how many people are into this whole twilight thing.. and to top it off the author is a crazy mormon and donates alot of money to anti-homosexuality groups
i've heard reports (and i'm saying heard, i'm not putting 100% faith in these) that without stephanie myer's donations proposition 8 in california never would have been brought to ballot let alone had a chance to pass (this was the ruling that made gay marriage illegal in california)
I just did some looking up.. She didn't donate herself exactly, but mormons are required to give a tithe, and 10% of the tithes recieved by the church of mormon are used for charrities or causes they support..
So yes, indirectly she helped fund it..
Mormons have to tithe 10% of their income: [ mormonism.suite101.com ]
And considering that Stephenie Meyer is now getting rich as fuck (roughly 134.2 million dollars [ wiki.answers.com ] ) they sure as fuck got a lot of money to help fund it.
ah, i honestly didn't look too far into it. (obviously).
i guess it's not AS bad as her donating directly.. i still have zero interest in the books/movies anyway
Today, instead of studying for a chemistry exam, I read the entire Twilight book in one sitting. I realized that I am just as romantic as Edward and now I'm waiting to find my Bella. MLIT
Tell me it isn't true...
Honestly, Twilight is so bad that you absolutely have to watch it for the terrible-ness factor. I laughed from beginning to end, total feel-good movie. A+++ !

Also, sunlight doesn't kill vampires, it makes them sparkle like if they were covered with gold glitter.
"Today, I was half naked and getting dressed when my Edward cutout (which I bought on one of my frequent trips to Forks) fell on top of me. Instead of pushing it off, I exclaimed, "Oh Edward! Not this early!" Then my mother walked in and took him out of my room saying, "its for my own good." MLIT
