if it came down to the fact that there was a drum n bass party, and someone said something to make a psy-trace stage at that event (if it was a strictly d'n'b party)would you go for it???

i know you'll probably say yes because of the point in question
but many will say no. its a d'n'b party you going there to listen to d'n'b

this is a psychedelic trance festival. there are different forms of psy-trance (psy breaks, full on, psy-electro even)but it is still psychedelic

i m not even gonna read the whole message
i would say yes simply because the more rooms
the more fun
were always open to working on events with difft sounds and vibes,

its that simple, especially when its electronic music combined with an outdoor SUMMER event...

in any case its all good, maybe next time...
+ we ve still got source of light

Eclipse will be even more for a specific crowd ; most of the peeps from this crowd don't like drumn'bass at all ...

Personnally ; i'll be down with a psy stage in a drumn'bass party , but not everyone is open-minded 'nuff ....

Source of Light Bro ? Keep it silent for now ...

let me also say that a big reason for iDJ events, were to create an accessible, positive and friendly environment for all to enjoy dnb and all night parties,
many feel the dnb scene to be too intimidating and tightly knit for people "not-in-the-know", hence a goal of iDJ was to introduce dnb to everyone...
(ie. dont target junglists in particular but anyone who wants to have a good time)

parties with more music = more fun
i understand that... but when you have 2 different crowds at a party there will always be some people from each specific music stage bitching about the other one, creating a nasty vibe. that is not what this party is about

there are some people that dont like d'n'b that listen to psy-trance, and there are some people that dont like psy-trance that listen to d'n'b.

this party is all about the vibe. i dont want to sound cheesy, but, the vibe will bring you on a journey through the music the whole weekend. if there is any kind of bitching the vibe is lost

That's tru man...

psy freaks in a a drug/music binge don'T necessarily like DnB at that point. Doesn't meen they don't enjoy it or won't come to DnB parties later... but it's just too far away from the Psy trip that you could get ppl shitting on the style just cause they were in that Psy mood, and felt like dissing something at the party...

proper massive events ... patience... force...
w/ you.

gotta work through the difficult moments to get to the light!
also, its the journey that counts not the destination.

i completely understand your point, although i know the iDJ crowd is too good to cause any probs, also we can always try to set up far away from the psy stuff?

anyways, its cool

yeah i'm really not the person to say regarding the psy trance vibe and all that...
just really want to work with other crews, especially other types of music/crowds...
